Feature Spotlight – New Continent

The Syndesia you know and love is growing! Aerhen’t you excited? Here’s a look at what you can expect from 40 square kilometers of interactive environments, diverse biomes, and dangerous enemies!

Carefully crafted to provide all those who visit with a realistic adventure, Aerhen isn’t for the faint of heart. Syndesia’s newest continent has been cut to size and its content curated in order to make every minute a gameplay meaningful. Frigid temps*, torrential rain*, and evil elementals are just a few of the challenges you’ll face on the variety of terrains you’ll traverse. Let’s take a closer look at these and more!

About Aerhen

No matter what they say, size does matter, and we’ve found the sweet spot: 40 square kilometers. This is the perfect size not only for a balanced mix of free exploration, planned journeys to acquire coveted items, and realistic interaction with fellow players, but also maintains smooth technical performance in the background, securing you a pleasurable gaming experience!

It’s never a bad idea to check the weather forecast before heading to Aerhen. This continent introduces unique biomes where you’ll encounter new monsters and learn to navigate challenging environments. But learning to adapt to this new land is worth it, because divine energy is pulsing through the Temples of Galvanos.

The mountainous regions on Aerhen are a thing of beauty, and as you climb the rocky terrain, you’ll also begin to see patches of snow as the environment changes.

Just on the outskirts of the grassy terrain known as steppe, colors combine to create a beautiful scene.

The tundra is where you’ll find foliage rich in many shades of red. Situated slightly lower than the mountains, you’re a step away from the more dangerous regions of Aerhen, making it a perfect place to set up camp.

Fire, rain, crystal, ice – these monsters don’t play nice, no matter shape or size!

Primelings, crawling creatures with crab-like arms and claws, are among the smallest enemies you’ll encounter on Aerhen. Elementals come in a pairing, normal and greater, with the latter doing more damage and being harder to beat.

Jotunns also have their place on Aehren. While the ultimate jotunn looks like the stuff of legends, summoned from the depths of hell, you’ll also come across warrior and mage jotunns, to name a few. And speaking of legends, beware of the monstrous mammoths!

And if those aren’t enough to keep you on your toes, you’ll also need to keep an eye out for goblins, spiders, and bandits – oh my!

But all of these enemies are worth encountering and conquering, because there are over 40 abilities to learn and many opportunities for magic!

Abilities, however, aren’t the only reason to visit Aerhen. What else will you find on this continent? Rich resources! You might have acquired silver and gold on Myr but still haven’t found charcoal or crystal. Thanks to a variety of elements and climates, many minerals are yours to be harvested.

Getting to Aerhen, however, is no easy feat. It’s expensive (a minimum of 1,000 coins) and can only happen via a harbor. And the more equipment you take with you, the costlier your trip will be. This means you’ll want to consider producing items on one single continent and bringing them back to your settlement rather than hauling raw materials with you.

Now that you know a little bit more of the 40 square kilometers or fresh content coming your way, it’s time to do some thinking about how you’ll take advantage of the 40 square kilometers of opportunity! Because Aerhen isn’t just a continent to visit, it’s a continent to call home. Those craving realistic, interactive environments and the feeling of not just playing an MMORPG but living inside of one will find their desires fulfilled on Syndesia’s newest uncharted territory.

Come for a visit and stay. You won’t regret it!

*PLEASE NOTE: Weather effects will not be available at Fractured Online’s Closed Beta launch. Instead, it will be available shortly afterwards.

Become a Volunteer today!

Hello adventurers!

Ever wanted to help you favorite game and become part of the community team?
Today is the day!

Today onward, you can apply to become a volunteer Moderator or Game Master for Fractured Online and assist the team in various ways!
Before you apply, let’s take a look, step-by-step, what is a Moderator and Game Master and how to become one!

Moderator and Game Masters

What is a Moderator and a Game Master?

Moderators and Game Masters are player volunteers that helps both the Community Managers as well as players through forums, discord and in-game. They may have many different duties and help in many aspects of the game, but they are dedicated to improving your game experience.

Moderators and Game Masters are normal players with responsibilities and act as a bridge between community and staff. They’re representatives of gamigo as part of the moderation and disciplinary committee. They also assist in resolving players issues, from in-game questions to technical support and troubleshooting.

That said, Moderators and Game Masters are still regular players that uphold the Terms of Service outlined by the gamigo group and aren’t liable for the time they aren’t active because they are, in fact, volunteers.

What do Moderators and Game Masters do?

✔ Suggesting, creating, planning, organizing, and/or running events in all platforms for players to participate in and enjoy
✔ Providing internal and/or external means of support regarding any kind of issue/s such as player reports, game questions, game issues, technical problems, sales questions, etc. on Discord and Forums
✔ Moderating and intervening in any issue/s that revolves around player-to-player harassment, arguments, excessive foul language, etc. on Discord, Forums and in-game
✔ Listening to player concerns, being the first line of Customer Service forwarding player feedback, and upholding the Terms of Service
✔ Reporting bugs and exploits to Community Managers

What do Moderators and Game Masters not do?

✖ Check a player’s tickets, logs and account history
✖ Modify anything related to the game
✖ Being a walking encyclopedia. A Game Master may not know every single aspect of the game, as the GM program aims to provide basic support and staff assistance. Although, a Moderator or Game master will try their best to help you solve a situation.

What are Moderators and Game Masters not allowed to do?

✖ Abuse their title or power for any sort of popularity gain, special treatment, threaten, and/or undermine a player
✖ Mediate/Middleman any player transactions, such as trading or voucher agreements, etc. They can’t do anything other than report a scammer like any other player would do
✖ Alter, and/or modify any aspect of the game features, and/or accounts outside of their own

What benefits do Moderators and Game Masters have?

Moderators and Game Masters have close connections with the Community Managers and are an integral part of the community team, with the addition of getting a snazzy new role on Discord.
Volunteering is also the first step in the door to get into the industry!

What powers do Moderators and Game Masters have?

Moderators and Game Masters are slightly different but also very similar, here’s a quick overview of what Game Sages and Game Masters can do:

Game Master Moderator
Forum and Discord Moderation
In-game moderation (mute)
In-game moderation (ban/kick)
Running events
Bug Reporting
Special account in-game and Discord

Get ready for Closed Beta!

We are thrilled to confirm that the Glyph user account migration is scheduled to launch next week – one of the last missing pieces on our road to allow you 24/7 access during Fractured Online’s Closed Beta!

The Glyph user account migration tool will make your migration a fast and smooth experience, giving you access to Fractured Online and other Glyph games in the future. A detailed guide and frequently asked questions will be available when the migration starts next week.

At the same time, we will update some of the website tech and content, including the store, forum, Foundation system and more. Most of the systems will continue to work as they do right now, all you need is your new Glyph account login, which you can create shortly. Unfortunately, we will need to pause the Foundation system for now. But rest assured, all progress you achieved already will be stored and goodies will be unlocked at a later point as planned.

Users who did not register an account or purchase any of the Founder Packs in the past, can simply register a new Glyph account and purchase one of the updated Founder’s Packs, granting 24/7 access to the Closed Beta at its launch. As for the Foundation system, nothing will change for existing users.

We will reveal more details early next week, so watch this space and make sure to follow our social media channels and join our Discord channel.
