BACKGROUND
Though of noble birth, as a second son he could not hope for any succession rights of his family's otherwise modest land claims. Therefore, Sir Darian was bound to forge a name for himself. Marveled by books of adventure, he showed interest in fencing and travels from a very early age. Though he could not afford to send him travelling as much as he wanted to, his father ensured Sir Darian got fencing lessons from the greatest masters in the vicinity, as well as good education regardless of the subject his young son manifested an interest in.
