@dragomok One of the most frustrating things is, for instance, in Destiny 2 you'll come up on a mob battle going on, and you engage one side to begin the slaughter, but instead of their fight continuing they ALL start shooting at you, completely disregarding each other. Your description of firefall sounds ridiculously fun to manipulate.
A post in another topic I saw awhile back pointed me to a video about Ultima Online (the OG), and a little known feature that they scrapped because of how quickly players killed mobs. They implemented a virtual ecology, where the "herbivores" are plants, and the carnivores ate them, and so on. This doesn't necessarily answer all of your concerns, but it would give the mobs life instead of mindless wandering.

@ausinukas123 My buddy got me back into it spring this year, and I've been playing ever since. It is amazing for returning or totally new players. For me, the nostalgic factor keeps me coming back to play now that I know what the heck is going on. There is so much information out there that you can breeze through a lot of the content while still enjoying it and making friends. Not to mention the mobile release, along with upcoming patch of a brand new skill and additional area in the newest continent. I'm rambling because there is just so much to say. Hope you give it a try!
@Gothix Oh god, if they re do the PvP grind they had I will be locked inside my dorm until I get that gold Field Marshall. IMO the highest symbol of honor in the game currently. (Alliance was super sad back in the day, watched my dad troll countless Horde with the only good Alliance PvP team there was)

Crazy thing is once they saw people were all hyped up for D2 remaster or a D4, even a D3 expansion, they said for everyone to lower expectations lol. I don't really care though, this cash grab move will fund WoW classic and WC3 reforged which I am VERY excited about.

Put it plenty of time in Old School Runescape and WoW, dabbled with SWTOR. I'm here to start in a MMO on day one though
Watching my friend play it on XBox, honestly doesn't interest me. Graphics are superb, very polished game, but I like the absurdity of GTA better than how serious Red Dead takes itself.
Theres a lot of talk of the alpha coming up. Will someone please stream their gameplay?
