      INT will give you resistance to certain kinds of Magical (Damage). The character sheet actually calls them Magic Resistances. Heat, Cold, Moist I have never considered to be magical (maybe a sunset you sometimes consider magical :P)

      Therefore I see no direct connection, being able to handle high or low temperature for example. I still expect you to need the proper equipment for being in certain environments.

      And before people start to play the RL card again, this is a game, ever seen a deer walking on 2 feet wielding a sword or a bow ? Not everything (or mostly nothing) will be like RL or logical โ˜บ

      As far as I have seen "Magic Damage" is separated from other sources of damage and not considered Elemental damage: Magic Missiles does Magic Damage, Fireball does Fire damage, Chilling Touch does Cold damage etc.

      So that would mean it doesn't give resistance to all non-physical, just to one kind of damage. Even If that wasn't the case it would make all other non-physical resistance obsolete. Which would be a big flaw in game design ๐Ÿ™‚

      Besides that: due to the long cd's on healing abilities, you can, of course, equip multiple healing skills, but that would leave no room for damage skills.

      In Alpha 1 my Magic resistance was 86%, but there was no cap on INT that time (I got to 27, where it will be 25). On the other hand, my physical armour was capped to 400. Still very vulnerable to physical damage.

      Lol, In my case I expect that to take 2 days: First day I will get lost at least 20 times and probably drown in even the smallest stream I can find. In between getting killed even by deer and rabbits over and over again.

      But day 2 will be glorious !

      More choices are always welcome, unless you suffer from Aboulia ofcourse. But yeah, with the isometric approach not as import as in other MMO's.

      Although it would bug me if I am surrounded by 20 people all looking kinda the same. Especially in the beginning of the game I do not expect a lot of variation in armour and/or cosmetics, so there will character customization will help to feel "unique" โ˜บ

      I still cry at night about the loss of that Game. What ultimately killed it was that the concept of the game did fail by technical problems which they could not solve, not even with the support of Improbable. By looking for more developers using SpatialOS I stumbled onto this game.

      Armors won't slow your attacks but:

      Medium armors won't allow you to cast spells
      Heavy armors won't allow you both to cast spells or move in stealth mode.

      Paladin style is off the table then โ˜น

      Unless the definition of spells is different then I think. @Znirf Can you enlight us on that?

      Pets being able to give you some extra inventory on the road, by carrying a bag for you is something that would fit the game.

      But as there is no worldwide access to your vault/bank/storage or whatever, getting access through a pet would not make sense then.

      There won't be any differences between PvP and PvE. We'd like to create a balanced system giving you cooldowns and mana costs that won't allow to spam healings. For example, there will be "consumable spells" that will use your HP as a cost ๐Ÿ™‚

      I browse reddit a lot, and every other game has a very active community. Reddit is extremely convenient for most of us ... it feels like Fractured pushes a little too hard to leverage what feels like an antiquated forum.

      I am considering myself a relic, so antiquated is my thing !

      It really is a matter of taste, I have tried to get the grasp on Reddit several years now, but I always get brain damage by using it, to much info, too clustered to easly read post and responses ๐Ÿ™‚

      What I do know that several games had their Reddit "channel" started by fans and in a later statium converting to an offical one (same on Discord) . If there really is a need for a reddit channel, some people (or you ?) can start it up ?

      The maximum value for stat will already be maxed out on 25 (not implemented in alpha 1 yet). Splitting crit chance and crit damage over 2 stats could complicate building your character. On a human you can only max 2 stats (to 18), 3 is possible but then you get severe penalties on the rest of the stats as you have to withdraw points there and get below the 10 value.

      Melee in general will focus on Strength and Perception, Caster on Intellect and Perception, with some small variation in the minor stats. Taking crit damage out of Perception would mean a complete overhowl of the way your charater will be build. I don't see the need for that. Or do I miss something here ?
