@therippyone I know you're joking, but I'd be very ok with having a whistle or somesuch that pinged my mount or called it out of a crowd. Then you wouldn't have to have the neon sign names or anything, just a map marker for the general location.

Been a long time (Ultima?) since I played an isometric MMO, but I absolutely love the feeling you get when you know there's a huge world past the edges of the screen, and can't just look up and see the horizon. That has its place too, but this is special. Gonna be painful waiting for this one to release!

@evolgrinz That seems like a very elegant solution. They've stated that they want the game to be classless, but your strengths are determined at creation - knowing that 18 STR and 10 INT will let you get some awesome smashy skills (that will be stronger because of the stat anyway) faster than awesome mystic skills is appropriate. As long as both are attainable, it all makes sense with everything else.

Yeah, no. No RNG weakness to a necessary resource. There would be an "optimal" allergy that everyone would just re-roll for, and it really wouldn't add anything even for a hardcore character. Just RP it if you want your character to die from peanuts.
