I'm hopeful, but not expecting, that there will be a new release this week telling us the exact date that the Fall Alpha will open. Going to be checking in hourly next couple of days lol

From what I've seen in videos of the last alpha, the deerkin look like they have the head of a deer, and a sort of human-like body.

I did some digging through the news releases, and found this: The Great City Sale is going to last until the start of the Fall Alpha, planned for the second half of October – so don’t miss your chance!
So yeah, expect it about 2nd week or so into October!

@Kierdy judging from past news releases on here, the trend seems to be they announce a set date for alpha tests roughly a week ahead of that date.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for an announcement in the next few days!

Agreed. I think that even a slightly undead-ish look to them would be fitting, especially to those who are going into necromancy. Considering most players would want this abomination/race combo to be some form of caster, something looking similar to a lich would be fitting.

Sorry but I agree that death should have some consequence(s), and not just a tiny inconvenience.

I thought the same thing at first, but had to double-check before buying.
