      As stated in several posts around the forum, there is no "Enhancing" Implemented in Alpha 2.1 build. Giving inaccurate advice is not being helpful, and calling a game doomed that is in Alpha testing is poor form.

      I have had little issue killing enforcers with my mage, you have to be a bit strategic. I pull them out with a bow attack, throw a net and blast away. When they break free i toss the web and continue. The problem is if you strut in and ago a bunch you will be killed, most mages are op in offence. There has to be a balance and that is Armour restrictions and low HP.

      Show me a game were Mage is a face tank and that is a game that is doomed.

      Don't get me wrong suggestions for improvement are great, and can be helpful. Taking that in mind if it was more constructive the opinion would have more value. simply typing "please make the combat/movement feel more fluid." is just not that constructive.

      I do love dual Wielding much more than 2h, i have ever since i started playing D&D ages ago.

      As of now it seems that 2h/Bow are the best non mage options.

      Heavy blow is all we have 1 skill rest is one speed boost and attack damage otherwise completely zero skills that matter besides word of life skill which not many have and percent you need to use properly is complete garbage currently.

      Actually with staff you have Bash(Bear/Warchief) and Heavy Blow, they work well with Inspire & Warcry. With Spear you can use Poison since it is bladed weapon. so there are some options.

      I agree there are a lot more for Dagger/Axes and a ton for Mage.

      Maybe it was the update but i cannot replicate the issue every cast takes the 250 is states. Although with mana regen it is a bit hard to track.

      on the other hand, if you start with real starter gear and weapons from wood and stone, and metal weapons would be far better? Time will tell 🙂 for now, we can only share our test results and experiences.

      I think the fact that we are successfully attacking/Killing at start proving there statement. it may take longer with some beasts than others but that is were the skill comes in.

      The "Better/Stronger" materials will hopefully lead to more damage on the back end...Hopefully
      Or may just make them easier to enchant, more powerful after enchantment.

      I am glad i have vacation this week so i can see and experience the evolutionary steps.

      Apologies for my english, it's garbage... but i try to improve

      No Worries!

      If you are wearing anything other that the starting cloth armor for mage there is a mana penalty. I have not noticed an issue but my toon is using all Leather so i use more mana regardless.

      Tomorrow when the game is up i will see if i can replicate the issue.
