RE: Charisma
Warfare also uses charisma, likely for buff and debuff skills. It's also mentioned that charisma is used for psychic abilities and I'm not sure if that's exclusive to illusion. The spotlight seems to imply that skills might use attributes other than the listed primary attributes of their school, so I wouldn't be too strict with assumptions about what attributes a skill of a particular school may use. For example, restoration mentions infusing life into inanimate objects; if these objects acts as summons, they could be affected by charisma.
I don't expect luck to affect loot in any way because the devs have stated they hate RNG looting/gathering/crafting. Judging by how every other attribute gets a significant combat boost for reaching 20, I'm expecting charisma/luck will be the same.
There will also likely be crafting recipes that require a decent amount of charisma.

RE: Town Location Advantage
@azraelius The most we know about boats is from the news article about the Alpha 1 map.
As of today, swimming is not planned, and sailing is not in the list of topics for Alpha. However, the proximity of towns and rivers is definitely not a coincidence! Transportation of players and materials through boats is something we’ve planned to implement later on – and when we do, it’s going to shake the worlds of commerce and warfare!

RE: This game will be p2w?
@eurav said in This game will be p2w?:
Actually, I think it is: Unknown -> tome + time in sudy slot -> Discovered -> can complete tasks to learn and lv up the skill.
The spotlight says otherwise. Being able to discover skills through tomes would defeat the exploration aspect of finding skills.

@eurav said in This game will be p2w?:
What do you mean by "skills one can research at the same time"? Skills you need to discover and can then lv up with tasks. So I can only discover or lv up a speicic amount of skills, and have to get them to lv 3 before I can learn a new one?!?
The knowledge spotlight goes more into this, but there are different phases to learning a skill. The first phase is discovery. The second phase is completing tasks. The third phase is studying the skill, which is where study slots come into play. When you've completed enough tasks for a new level of a skill, you use a tome of knowledge to equip it into a study slot and a timer will start. When the timer finishes, the skill is now learned.

RE: Special weekly market
One of the attributes of Fractured's economy is that it's supposed to be entirely player driven. Having NPCs showing up and selling special goods seems to go against that.

in fractured as @Prometheus said numerous times its not an issue of "risk vs reward", its the recognition that there is different play styles, and some do not have risk at all, and still should get to endgame content!
Can you link any of the times Prometheus talked about risk vs reward? I don't remember anything like that being said and search is failing me. From what I remember, playstyle is only ever mentioned in the context of PvP and non-PvP players, not about risk vs reward. And I don't think the devs are even implementing specific "endgame content." Judging from the absolute dedication to horizontal progression, it seems that everything in the game is the endgame.
Risk is inherently tied into any economic system. People put more value on things that are harder to acquire. Rare materials from Tartaros will likely be worth more because of the added risk of free for all PvP. I don't know how the devs could possibly design an economy that removes risk as a factor of reward without removing risk altogether.

mages have no ammo
I don't think we know that for sure. It's possible spells require reagents to cast. Reagents could act as a balancing factor for high int characters having access to so many skills.

I'm expecting PvE on Arboreus to be harder, in general, compared to Tartaros
This quote from Prometheus leads me to believe it's the opposite:
@prometheus said in Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime:
As the "Hunters & Scavengers" tab in our homepage (which you've mentioned later) suggests, resource gathering goes through PvE on Tartaros much more than in the other planets. And PvE can get really hard there, given the horrors that inhabit the planet. So your guess is 100% correct.
It was also mentioned in another thread that the kind of PvE that goes on in Arboreus safe zones wouldn't interest the kind of people that play demon which leads me to conclude that a lot of the PvE on Arboreus is farming or other types of passive PvE.

Hold on, by raiding you mean endgame dungeon raiding or pvp plundering?
He means city sieges. On Tartaros and Syndesia, cities can be conquered and taken by enemy guilds.

The C in the Fractured logo seems to be based on the sigil of chaos, so maybe you're onto something

You start with 3 slots, but you can buy more. The pledge packs come with extra slots.

RE: Will the Demons take over the Human world?
@eurav said in Will the Demons take over the Human world?:
Also since Demons get a debuff in the Human world, for a Demon solo player to do something in the Human world they would need to have better base stats. Whether or not this is wanted, who knows.
The impression I got is that demons have a buff on their own planet, and when they go to Syndesia, they lose that buff (on Arboreus, they get debuffed on top of that). The exception to this is an eclipse where demons retain their Tartaros buffs when traveling to Syndesia.
