According to the Q&A, the current test server is US based, and if there is an influx of player which requires a second server, US and EU will each get their own server.

Keep in mind though that these are the dispositions for the testing phase, we have no info on what will be after release.

Prometheus wanted to updated those spotlights for quite some time, but he has never had the time. Now there are people giving him an hand on these kinds of tasks, so we are finally getting these updates.

A differenza di quelli precedenti, il prossimo test non sarà a tempo limitato, quindi FORSE sarà effettivamente la Beta. Se no si tratterà dell'ultima Alfa.

Personally the value I see in it as an old backer, is in having a confirmation that those things are still on the table.

Until the end of the alpha tests, it is possible to get a giveaway key. They are usually given by streamers or guild leaders.
That said, if the next test indeed turns out to be the first beta, I'm not sure if that would still apply.
