RE: PvP loot, an yet unasked question and diferent POV
Well that is clarifying! If I understood corectly that means that the quality of the gear is of small variety and doesnยดt really influence the competitive perfomance of PvP that much, and good competitive gear is easy to come by. Is that correct?
There are no tiers like in for example Albion Online, but every set has its own strengths and weaknesses. You also want to make sure you dress appropriately for the environment you're in. For example, taking your desert armor set to a cold biome would be a very bad idea. Weather, temperature, seasons, day/night, etc all matter in Fractured.
I wonder then what would the rare resources combined with crafting produce?(abilities maybe?) And what would make raids to collect resources you wont find in tartaros, worth it? To gain beter competitivness edge that is, I mean besides geting resourses for buildings etc
As Eurav explained, different resources grant different stats. Depending on your build, you might not be able to craft your prefered armor with resources found on Tartaros.

@pedrobillymattos When you die, you will lose all the gear you're wearing as well. With that said, unlike many other games, gear will be easy to obtain in Fractured.
In addition to that, Fractured is all about horizontal progression and so is the gear. There are no strictly better or worse tiers of gear, except for some crude armor/weapons you can craft as a quick means to get back onto your feet until you have obtained a proper set of gear again.

RE: Pre-alpha invites!
@tulukaruk It's no secret. Even Prometheus mentioned in the last content pill that we were still a few weeks away from the pre-alpha.
@Everyone: The first wave is going to be extremely small. Do not assume that the pre-alpha hasn't started yet just because you didn't get an invite.

9. Are current pledge packs going to stay forever?
No. Current packs are a replica of the pledges of our Kickstarter campaign, and will eventually be phased out to be replaced by different offers. Some of the most exclusive rewards, such as lifetime VIP, will stop being available once we hit Alpha.
As for the stretch goals, they will continue in 2019, don't worry.

RE: Streaming Pre-Alpha?
@eurav Yes, players are allowed to stream alpha 1 and beyond. Only the pre-alpha is covered by an NDA.
-
RE: Pre-alpha invites!
@evolgrinz Nope, they don't. If there's a forum group for alpha testers, we can probably hide it.
@TheRippyOne A thread with 2 replies, what could it be.

RE: Pre-alpha invites!
@genobee I don't believe there is, but it's not really a problem anyway. Outsiders can't see what's being said inside nor does the forum show who has access.

RE: Pre-alpha invites!
It's hard to hide the start of the pre-alpha when everyone can see the number of threads and posts in the closed Pre-alpha section.

RE: This game will be p2w?
@eurav That's the idea yes. You don't need VIP if you only care about unlocking the skills for your build. However, if you're a completionist who wants to unlock every skill there is, VIP becomes very useful.

RE: Pre-alpha invites!
@foxs Prometheus advises against taking time off.
The servers won't be online all the time.
-
RE: This game will be p2w?
@eurav Skills need to be studied before you can slot them. Increased study slots means you can research more skills at the same time.
Knowledge points are used to purchase talents and to study skills. VIP only boosts the KP from repeatable sources, but at the start of the game most of your KP will come from one-time sources.

RE: This game will be p2w?
@suicideseed Fractured won't be P2W. The cash shop will only sell cosmetics and the VIP sub only gives minor benefits.
-
RE: new member
@archarmy Fractured is still in development. You can't download it yet.

RE: Trading As a Skill
Calm down everyone. There's no need to resort to namecalling.

RE: Pre-alpha invites!
@tulukaruk The first wave is going to very small, much smaller than the number of people who are active and in good standing. That's something everyone here needs to keep in mind. If you don't get invited to the first wave, that doesn't mean you're a troublemaker.
