@blyce There's no gear progression in Fractured. Every piece of gear has different strenghts and weaknesses but none of them are strict upgrades over others.
As for character progression, there's the Knowledge System so you will have plenty of progression there.
@Esher From what I understand, these days you can only join a guild if you can permanently stay on the planet the guild is tied to.
@Belligero Well, that's what this subforum is for right? You can find the meaningful discussions in the General Discussions subforum. Welcome to Fractured is just for introductions.
@blyce No race is restricted from PvP, it's just that every planet has a different ruleset. Humans start on Syndesia and you can PvP there. Arboreus (Beastmen world) is the only planet with PvP restrictions.
@Cowper The servers will be wiped after every testing phase.
Could be a cache issue. Press CTRL + F5 and see if that works. (Assuming you're on Chrome).
@Snowy Make sure you're logged in on the website and if it's not working, try a different browser. Maybe a script blocker is stopping you from getting points.
@nubnub The pre-alpha is under an NDA, they aren't allowed to talk about it.
The plan is to have only one server for all players. If some players have latency issues, they will open additional servers in other regions. Due to the way SpatialOS scales, it should be possible to support any number of players, so there's no such thing as max players per server.
@Conquestaxe Nope, SpatialOS and Unity have resolved those issues.

Unity vs Improbable
You likely know about the Unity vs Improbable quarrel, as it’s been featured everywhere on gaming media. If not, we explained that in brief in a forum thread when the news broke.
After some heated exchanges on the press, Unity changed its Terms of Service to allow any Third Party Service (such as SpatialOS) to use their engine as a server and re-instated the Improbable licenses. Case closed.
In the end, it was all just a big scare. We are still working with Unity, SpatialOS, and the awesome integration between the two that is allowing us to build an ambitious MMO like Fractured without a AAA-sized team!
@Tsoo No, the store isn't going to close before or during the upcoming alpha phase. The packs will eventually get replaced with other packs, but I don't know when.
@Tuoni Indeed, there's still a lot missing. If they don't have enough data after a week, I suppose they can always extend it. The test phases were always planned to be time-limited with gaps in between, as mentioned in the roadmap post.
@Sigdesh This is no longer possible, sorry. The last pre-alpha wave went out a few weeks ago and access to alpha 1 and beyond can only be bought through the store.
@Pluto I believe they will procedurally generate more land then.
and is like 7\8 weeks that they are totally missing.
Double that.
The devs are working on a solution for the big backlog of drawings. I believe they're going to make some changes to the website so I can give the points to the winners.
@Pluto They can claim land on Arboreus just like the other races can claim land on their planets. Only difference is the lack of PvP on Arboreus, so Beastmen cities cannot be besieged/conquered.
@Immortal-Great The devs are very busy right now with the preparations for alpha 1, so I don't think they have time to give an update. They're going to make some updates to the website this week so that backers can claim their keys for alpha 1.
