That's how buying and selling things works in Fractured. There are no auction houses.

@Arminton Well, and rewards like the founder houses, armor skins, etc. The pet companions as well I believe even though it doesn't say exclusive. The mule mount with the wagon might have an exclusive look too but I'm not sure about the plans for those.

2: Depends. Some of the rewards can be bought from the store once the game goes live for real money, like character slots and months of VIP. Some other rewards like the carpenter NPC can be obtained through ingame means. (Lifetime free VIP and carpenter are crowdfunding exclusives though).
@Farlander You can unlock everything, but the attributes you choose at character creation are set in stone and will determine the effectiveness of your abilities. So for example, there's nothing stopping you from collecting spellcaster abilities but if your intelligence is only lvl 6, they're not going to be very effective.

Hello everyone. I know you've all been waiting for the drawings, but due to the Christmas holidays, the SpatialOS/Unity issue, the pre-alpha and alpha 1, the developers were too busy to assign the points and post the weekly drawings. As a result, we haven't been able to post any drawings for months. (20 weeks in total). Don't worry though, just because we weren't able to post them, doesn't mean we didn't select the winners every week. Now that alpha 1 is over, we can finally start catching up on the drawings. Instead of posting them all at once, I've decided to post them in batches to make it easier to check if everyone has received their points correctly. I'm planning to have them all posted before the end of this week's drawings on Wednesday 23:59 UTC+2. (4 per batch, 5 batches total, 1 batch per day, Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed).

@Goemoe Fractured will have PvE content like dungeons, world bosses, recurring PvE events, etc. Arboreus is mostly a PvE planet specifically for PvE players, and won't be any worse than the other planets. That means you don't have to go to a PvP planet to obtain "endgame" items.
