@logain well the length of combat will depend on your build, if 2 full burst players face each other 3 secs would be plenty, all depends on your playstyle :》

So, one of the things that got me excited for this game is the knowledge system (if you have not read the spotlight yet, go do yourself a favor and read it). While waiting for pre-alpha, one of the things I do is planning on how to build my first character.

I have a pretty clear idea of what role my first character will be, first of all, I will be trying to learn a ton of spells ASAP, hopefully I can count on the help of others to discover them. I really want to play a squishy mage-archetype, but with a ton of CC spells like stuns, sleeps, slows, and whatever conditions the dev's will put in the game.

I've never come across a support mage option in other MMO's I've played which is a shame, and that is another reason why I am looking forward to this game! :]

So, what about you, any plans on what your first character will play like, or which role he/she will fulfill?

No level grind!
Also, being able to build your character yourself is pretty rare in mmo's
