As someone who was deeply pledged into CoE, (I was know as Pteroguin) I think some of the things that provide hope to me for Fractured are;

No NDA - for true transparency
Reaching milestones
Minimalistic scope creep
Bugs that are reported get addressed quickly
A comprehensive and achievable vision
Responsive developers

At the end of the day I pledged as a backup/training area for my CoE community but time and time again Prometheus and crew show me why I should of pledged more here and less in CoE.

Ultimately - if one should pledge is a deeply personal question. I think they’re doing a great job and will achieve many if not all of their objectives.

The chat box part I used the little “lock” but a transparency slider would be nice long term. Nice post and good suggestions

I would agree it has a lot of opportunities and seeing the progression is a nice change of pace from other dev teams. Hope you enjoy the stress test!

@asspirin I think the point is exponential gain, which can be accumulated no matter the sample size. That’s before you take into account cross race alts. Ultimately everything you listed can be achieved but could still benefit from multi boxing/multi-accounts if they allow it.

It’s not out of the realm of belief that those few with multiple accounts won’t choose to sub as well. I know for me personally if I play for a decent amount of time a few subscriptions isn’t a big deal. I’ve routinely covered sub costs for parts of my gaming community. My point was if there’s an advantage to be had people will push for that advantage sub, or otherwise despite the possible costs associated with said choices.

I’m also interested in seeing what the developers think about your points. It’ll be interesting if we could get more insight into more of the pro-demon points. It’s hard to sell people on a pro-demon choice when you start looking at what data we have. Although that simply could be due to what quantifiable data we have. Namely how good is 21 in a stat versus 18, and how much easier teleportation is. My biggest fear is that it’s far easier to be a Beastman and simply run content before purposefully losing Alignment to push to a Tartaros existence. It just seems far easier to go one way than the other and without some quantification it becomes difficult to recruit for demons.
