      There are limitations to what gods you can pledge to, but not as strict as you may think. They don't depend on your race directly, but on your alignment. Some matches are obviously impossible, like a Beastman pledging to Babilis - unless, as you've said, the Beastman decides to betray its own race and turn to an Evil alignment. That's not something you do on a daily basis though - it's a long, perilious process 😉

    • Patch Log - r.0.0e - Bug Fixes x5

      Hi all,

      here we go once again with some bug fixes!

      • Walls can now be built correctly, but existing bugged ones can't be completed. Please ask a Game Master for help - he will help you delete them, then you'll place a new one and the GM will insta-build it for you.
      • Fixed another instance where a player could jump below a Grokoton platform.
      • Depositing heavy materials into a crafting station with the "Deposit All" button no longer causes materials to be lost of the station's inventory is full.
      • It is now possible to track optional tutorial quests. If a new mandatory quest is assigned, the tracker will automatically switch to that one.
      • The top-center Divine Trial UI now appears correctly when logging in inside an active Divine Trial.
      • It is now possible for Aggressive players to steal the carts of other Aggressive players on Terra.

      Evil Beastmen and redeemed Demons will exist, but the path to follow to become one of them will be long and challenging. As I've explained elsewhere, the process indeed includes being exiled from your natural home planet! :slight_smile:

    • Patch Log - r.0.0f2 - PvP Targeting & More Fixes

      Hi all,

      this patch fixes some issues related to movement through areas of the world controlled by different server processes (so-called "workers").

      These issues generated several (very) rare but serious bugs, such as not being able to attack / be attacked by other Aggressive players while being Aggressive, not being able to mount on a horse, and more. All these bugs could be solved simply by relogging, but most players would not know that - also could also exploit them on purpose.

      Hi @Gerio! There are no "classes" in Fractured. Character building is much more "free-form" - you choose your strengths and weaknesses when you create your character, then you can learn any spell and ability in the game through the Knowledge System and re-build your character every time you're in front of a fire. Some of these mechanics are hinted to in the home page of our website, and they'll all be covered in detail in the upcoming Feature Spotlights.

      The closest thing to "classes" that I can mention are races and sub-races, which have a deep impact not only combat, but also on gameplay as a whole. They'll be covered in the first spotlight! 🙂

      @33Hp that all races can becomes PKs is true to some extent. All races can be dedicated to PvP, that's for sure - you could play a Beastman character that spends most of its time hunting Demons and criminal Humans on Tartaros/Syndesia, and/or protects Arboreus. Becoming a Beastman "PK", however, is a whole different story. As I've explained elsewhere, the path that leads a Beastman to turn evil is long and includes being banished from Arboreus. We expect only real hardcore players will try that!

    • Patch Log - r.0.4b - New Player Experience & Fixes

      Hi all,

      on Tuesday, November 26, at 1pm UTC, servers will be going down to release patch r.0.4b. It contains various improvements for new player retention and bug fixes, listed below!

      Changes

      • Popups added to explain why some stations (e.g. Imbuing Tables) can't be used in NPC cities or player cities when you are not a Trusted Citizen.
      • New color for Alliance chat, different from Guild chat.
      • Link to New Players Guide on the Fractured Wiki added to character selection menu and to account registration email.
      • On the first character login after opening the client, some menus now open automatically (Special Events, Seasons, Adventurer's Tasks).

      Bug Fixes

      • Multiple fixes to bits of UI not localized that are always displayed in English.
      • Fixes to broken tags in some translations, particularly Polish.
      • Fixed a bug that prevented other guilds from joining an alliance, other players from being recognized as allied, etc.
      • Fixed a bug that caused some settings to reset from time to time (e.g. Shadows and Cursor).
      • Fixed guild creation menu that sometimes prevents clicking on the TAG box.
      • The number of own inventory slots displayed when trading with another player is now correct instead of always being the maximum unlockable slots.
      • Fixed character moving when issuing invites.
      • The quest tracker is now cleaned up correctly after claiming an Adventurer's Task.
      • Fixed visual issues when mounting while transforming.

      @Roadkyll I don't even get what might look "scammy" in Fractured since it's a pretty standard game portal and, as @Aries pointed out, we're not even asking for any personal info when you sign up. Also, I've just tested all our emails (such as support@dymstudios.com and contact@dymstudios.com) and they work perfectly, so I'm wondering whether you're just trolling here or someone got hold of your account.

      Two very interesting questions 🙂

      @Frost yes, you will lose everything you carry when you die, even if you're a Beastman on Arboreus. You can still recover the items in your body if you get back to it in time and nobody has looted in between though. Whether other players (not in your party) can loot you (and the consequences) depends on the race/planet, of course, as for all criminal actions :slight_smile:

      @MarkasUrthadar you will get drops from mobs, but mostly limited to special resources and currency. No complete items, aside from very special situations. All complete items will be crafted by - and therefore also traded between - players!

      I wanted to know if they will make a VIP system, like albion or tree of savior. I dont think its a bad idea, but dont make it overpower, giving a little % in gathering would be nice.

      It's a decision for a distant future, so it's impossible for us to give a reliable answer now. It's likely we'll consider it, but if it ever makes it into the game, it surely won't be "overpowered" :slight_smile:

      Diseases (and similar conditions) do exist, although they're more related to curses and poisons than the weather system (never say never anyway!). They play on the Life vs Endurance mechanic in a nice way - more info on this topic will come in the first video!

      Is that true for the 'daily points' as well? I didn't seem to get any on a 'second day' (if 00:00 UTC is considered a new day).

      It is. You signed up yesterday, and you've received 15 daily points today - we've just checked. Everything looks fine :slight_smile:

      @Garlic we've been doing some server work yesterday evening and this morning which entailed some downtime, could be related to that. You should have received them now though.

      There is a repair system, but it always requires resources. Even if you give the item to an NPC to do the job for you (you can, sometimes), it must have the resources available to do so. Notice that NPCs can get resources by themselves by trading with players or other AIs - thanks SpatialOS 😉

      Items can't be repaired just with a magical money sink on Fractured - that would harm the whole concept of regional resources and trading.

      Hi Duck 🙂 You can only worship one god at a time, and by doing so you gain different bonuses (each god gives its own blessings). Your alignment limits what god you can worship though. As @Specter said, we'll cover the whole religion system in a future dedicated Feature Spotlight :slight_smile:
