Honestly and humbly, gotta admit that I'm most excited for the tutorial. I'm not experienced at sandbox mmo games, and this one is (so they say) different from the rest anyway. My past gaming experience is mostly with builder & RTS games - not a whole lot of transferable skills.

I had a great time creating my PCs in the open Alpha, but once they got into the game universe they were pretty much carrion for the wolves. My little knife was ridiculous vs a pack of hungry npcs and I had no idea how to use my 'knowledge' or skills. There being no available plots to build a shelter, it was a brutal but humorous few hours.

With a tutorial, and a place to call home, I'm hoping I'll stand a chance. That would excite me no end

Hey there @PaddyO91!

I loved that it's not only a place where people who prefer PvE can enjoy that without being called 'farmers', but where buying the game gets you the whole game - so I'm not going to be taking marching orders from whales w more $$/time than god, and who (having dumped boocoo bux$ into the game) feel entitled to pitch forum tantrums if the devs make changes that don't suit them.

I can't even imagine what that's going to feel like, after years of 'freemium' gaming, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

When I first ponied up for this game, I remember the title of the pack I chose was "Artisan" and included access to the beta test. Now it looks like there are two levels of beta testing and the titles available in the shop have changed so I can't find out whether I'm forgetting my beta level or whether y'all have added a division.

I'm easily confused. Which beta does an Artisan package qualify me for, please? Thanks for clarification...

I'd agree that this is something I hope will improve btw now and the beta. At a certain distance, any map will be unclear, but as one zooms the detail needs to be sufficient to see whether the terrain ahead can be traversed, or what's the point of having the map? The trade-off for detail like that is that you can't see as far when you zoom in.

I wasn't gonna bring this up while the game is still so in process, but as long as someone else did... the available skin tones and hair textures for our alpha pcs are pretty darn limited.

I'm not fussed about that in the alpha, but then again, I'm a wytgrrrl so I didn't have any trouble making a pc who looks kinda like me. For the game to be all it should be, though, I'm hoping that the diversity issue will be addressed in time for the beta.

Before we start tweaking about nagas and elves, let's get us some Asians and Africans, ok?

I seriously love this idea! Esp. valid and intuitive for Arboreans, imo. My PC hopes to be a roving guide for travelers on Arboreus. While she will definitely require a stable 'den' for storage and crafting, she'd LOVE LOVE LOVE a caravan-style mobile unit for comfortable shelter 'on-the-job'

I love this idea!
I love it, regardless of the fact that I routinely disable music in games I play.
I love it because it will make the game world richer & more immersive, and allow players' spaces to evolve according to player choices.
