      I wonder whether that code would be similar to the code for muting/ignoring an annoying person in global chat? 🤔 We need that for the next test SO BAD.

      Ostaff and Gothix have it exactly right, although one never does know what the devs might do to cultivate buzz as time goes on.

      The critical thing is that any rewards redeemed be available for the actual, 'this time for real' build - some games I've played stayed in a state of PERMA-beta so they could excuse a lot of their bugginess 🙄 😒

      The crew at Fractured doesn't seem like that sort, but there's no telling whether a long beta might edge into the 'real thing' somehow. I'm really excited about the rewards I've earned, and grateful for the whole 'Foundation' set-up. Looking forward to traveling the worlds w my Wolf mount and my gorjus Fire Fendyr 💞 🔥

      I haven't watched the Q&A but I'm excited about the development of the charisma talent line and bardic/tamer abilities. Way more up my alley than hack n slash fighting. I love the idea of getting mobs to fight each other instead of me! 😉

      I'll look for the transcript if there is one... can't even make myself spend that kind of time watching a Q&A but grateful to those who can communicate highlights. 🖖

      @StormBug - I'm so sorry you aren't as radical as you thought 🤣 Like a bi-curious person at a PFLAG meeting, you are 'coming out' to general applause 😉 😆

      In fact, the desire to be able to choose &/or switch off between playing styles is (unless I'm reading it totally wrong) a big part Fractured's appeal to those here gathered. Welcome to our gang.

      My personal experience with gaming is that folks who prefer PvE get called a lot of nasty names ('farmer' and 'coward' among the few that aren't explicitly misogynist) so your exploration of PvP would, in most cases, earn you hearty manly slaps on the back, not 'issues' or problems of any sort.

      My main has been a mage the last two tests bc I'm totally clueless about fighter pc's (MMORPG isn't my first love, game-wise. I struggle and die a LOT)

      The new armors & weaponry are temptations for me to try maining as a fighter for the next test. To stretch my envelope, yes, but also to help the devs since tests are,by definition, places to try out new content & give feedback.

      Last test, there were a few players talking about a quarterstaff fighter build with strong AoE, and that's intriguing for me as a mostly solo player. I might try out a polearm if one is available.

      Looking forward to reading replies & suggestions from more experienced fighter types. What say you, @Razvan? @Gothix? @Oxfurd?

      I've played games with VERY different sorts of 'market' interfaces. Some clue re where they're heading would be a lovely bone to throw us.

      Well, they did have Taverns in that last test, just not very well done. You weren't able to place your tables in nice rows, and we never had any place to actually make ale 😞

      A tavern w/o ale is a barn full of tables. I don't care how many colors the lights are.

      Great question @Ostaff !! Given how many new things they're planning to roll out in the next test, I want the 'options' chosen to be the least burdensome for @Prometheus & the devs.

      Between finishing the stuff that didn't happen in this test, and adding resource nodes, city upkeep mechanic, and smithies... I just want them to get all that stuff down before adding any more, honestly.

      There are so many QOL fixes I'd prefer to see before new content - #1 being a way to see guildies and party members on my minimap!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

      IF things are running smoothly and they can add pets, I'd love to tame one! And some trolls for PvE and skills would be way fun.

      But I really hope they'll save city markets & a barter system for its own test, cuz that's gonna be a monster.

      Hi @Woode ! I'm planning to be happily Arborean once things get that far, but I've been working with the Meridian guild in this last test and they're a good bunch.

      @Razvan has been esp helpful - stayed up til oh-dark-thirty in Eastern Europe to help me (in Tacoma WA) kill critters & gather skills in the Vale.
      The leadership has a lively sense of humor as well as being open to member ideas.
      You may also want to check in with @LilCassiopeia, who isn't as involved this alpha due to personal stuff coming up, but has worked with Meridian and is planning to run an Arborean city called Duath in future iterations.
