RE: Patch Log - v.a.2.4.0h
@Kralith I saw that bug report. I remember that from the last test - it only happened in certain sized houses & @Specter ended up fixing my issue - I don't remember whether the actual bug got fixed.
The current bug reporter built a 2x2 (so did I in the last alpha, then a 3x3 once Specter fixed me up). Maybe ask in-game whether anyone has had an issue w other size homes?
Stay sane, @Prometheus! We're rooting for you!

RE: Fall Alpha Dev Update #3
@TrueCrimsonFTW The farming system is amazing. VERY realistic in comparison with most games I've played. I love planning crop rotations at home so this will be fun to help my guild do.
I couldn't be jazzed-er.
Gonna have my earplugs ready, tho, for the folks who don't like the brand new health mechanic. I know players are like Episcopalians - every change is a tragedy and a travesty for so many of them. Then they get used to it and the world keeps turning.

YOWZA! What's YOUR favorite part of the 3d Update?
The
just dropped and I was lucky enough to catch the link on YouTube via the Meridian Guilded discussion before it even posted here.GRATZ + KUDOS to @Prometheus & @Oxfurd on a fun and informative collaboration.
I'm thrilled, of course, that we can finally see party members on our mini-map. But tbh, that was so overdue it's hard to be impressed. I'm just relieved.
What's amazing and impressing ME is the farming system - with realistic soil nutrition and irrigation parameters and a good variety of crops to plant in rotation for best yields and trading.
Just WOW, guys. Great job.I can hardly wait to help set this up in Zenith!

RE: I Like banana
I like beer. Not with bananas, ordinarily, but there's probably a porter out there that would work fine.

RE: Zenith, capital of the Kingdom of Meridian - a nexus of community/politics/trade
LOL!! Thank you, @Alexian & King @Bardikens
I would so appreciate just the one
, y'all.
But I don't mind earning it. I've just submitted yet another post to the group of Game of Thrones Ascent refugees who have been following Fractured's development with great interest. I've already recruited 27 people via that list! Who knows, maybe smelting or the City Trading Post will be what garners a few more.
How'd y'all like the new video? I just loved it, honestly. The world being put together may look like Albion to a lot of folks but I see these devs taking WORK seriously, and promoting cooperation/group effort to achieve goals. I can't even say how much I appreciate that!

RE: Fall Alpha Launch & Dev Update #2
WOW I love the increasing realism of the Fractured world!! The fact that mining and blacksmithing are real work, demanding actual time, will turn some ppl off, no doubt, but miners and blacksmiths all over the world thank you, @Prometheus, for valuing their labor.
I'm guessing that farming and crop work will be similarly labor-intensive, in a way that will be very educational for players who take their food totally for granted.
In tandem with the reality of labor, the devs have set things up to promote/reward cooperative play. I know there are lots of solo players who will be sad to learn that they can't just have anything they want by clicking on a loot pile, but who knows? Maybe they'll be encouraged to find some buddies and share the load!
Alternatively, they might decide to kill lots of goblins to farm gold and buy what they want from more cooperative groups? Looking forward to finding out where I will fit in this rich world. maybe I'll be part of
Now to go share this great vid on my soc med group in hopes of winning a key from @Specter and finally joining the upcoming alpha

RE: Spread The Word & Win A Key!
Hey guys I'm still trying to win a key for the alpha coming up.
