Shields are nearly worthless.
Shields add no armor and do not add a chance to block.
The ONLY use for shields at the moment is a single ability called "Shield Block".
I know there is only 1 shield but I truly hope we are going to see armor and resists on shields. I believe the starter shield should still be providing armor though.

Spell casters are too weak in Pvp.
Let me start by saying I am a MELEE player and I think spell caster's need a buff.
It starts with balancing the abilities.There is NO reason why a player should be 100% immune to fire and magic damage. Currently that is easily doable with a PERMANENT buff called "Protection from Fire". This needs to be a duration like 10 seconds. A player should have to use it skillfully during combat when expecting a fire spell.
Mage armor should NOT be able to be used in anything above light armor. This gives too much spell resistance to melee players and can easily be stacked with their armor for 100% magic resist. Players have been doing this.

Attribute weight. Some are just too strong.
Currently it seems strength and intellect are everything. You could have 18 in strength and intellect and be an absolute powerhouse.
The other attributes are far too weak. I believe we need to start with strength. It's the armor, health, health regen, endurance, endurance regen, carry weight AND melee damage stat. It does FAR too much.
Intellect does spell damage, mana, mana regen AND Memory Points. It also does far too much. Some of these need to be moved to other stats.
Why is constitution not the tank stat?

PvP Fight Duration
Currently fights can end in less than 6 seconds which is the duration of a silence.
The outcome of a fight can be determined in a blink of an eye which really removes all player skill from the fight.
I personally think that we need to have differing survivability for PvE vs PvP so adjusting one does not adjust the other.

Militia Rank Based on Last Hit
Having militia rank based on who gets the last hit in a PvP battle is a bad design in my opinion.
All players involved in a fight should be getting credit, even if it's split among'st all players involved.
Currently support, cc'ers, and even spell casters have a hard time getting killing blows.
PvP becomes less about team work and more about who is getting that last hit in.

@Farlander Well..it COULD be pay to win if a player is allowed to respec his attributes in order to adjust his/her build for specific content or situations. If we had a cooldown imposed it wouldn't be so bad though.
2 week maybe 4 week cooldown on the respec use?
This way a player can't run into 10 players then rebuild his/her spec for attributes that support more aoe skills.
I understand the need for continued funds during an MMOs life span. I hope that the cosmetic cash shop does the trick. If the team deems that the cosmetic stuff isn't pulling in the needed funding I would be open to this respec option being added to the cash shop IF and that's a BIG IF there is a cooldown imposed to negate the spamming of it.

RE: Physical Immune enemies should be removed.
@Silynx So strangely enough I am currently testing this at this very moment and applying debuffs like bleeds from some melee abilities is giving credit even though it does no damage.
You need to inflict damage or a debuff to get credit.
