@Pwnstar Discord has voice like TS3. You just have to create a voice channel.

I think the most you can hope for is a global channel which only applies to the world you are playing in.
Like in the current Alpha 1 and I hope you will get filter options to sort out all kind of unnecessary stuff.
But you should be able to chat with friends on your friendlist and your own guild regardless of the distance.
As kellewic said Discord will be used also so there will be ways to organize things outside from the game.

I hope there will be no achievement system. I am done with ppl or guilds pushing for server first kills or whatever. I support this game with the hope that it will not make the same mistake with item level hunt nonsense and achievement rushing.
Regarding your bonuses I don't think the devs are creating this system it would destroy the whole concept of the social and economy system.
I personally don't care who is top or button this game should be fun and not a hunting party for the top spot.
We should all work together to built something great instead of looking only at ourselves.

@DCCCXIX honestly I personally don't really care. The main difference for me is that every aspect of the current game is so unpersonal. Crossrealm dungeons and raids have realy destroyed the game for me. Nobody is realy talking in the chat anymore the current game is pretty much dead.
In Vanilla you have to communicate to create a group to go to dungeons.....I don't want to start with organizing 40 ppl raids. People have to get themselves together. If you are verbally abuse ppl and leaving the groups you are an outcast on the sever. So for me this a big diffference maker in how to play/approach the game.
Also to name a few things which I realy miss:

Bigger talent tree for creating hybrid classes again
Different levels of one spell which makes healing for me far more interesting
Manamanagement 5 sec rule old time thing
Actually seeing people in the open world more often
No Achievements
Seperate auction house (Booty Bay welcome back!)

Hmm since I will head to PvE only server it will not be that crowded.

How long did it take to reach level 60? I heard from old players back in BC it took them half a year. You guys think the level scale will be the same?
I would like to play a mage on horde fraction. Any advice regarding races?

Don't know what to think of WoW Vanilla. I started with BC back in the day and the farming quests where really a pain in the ass even back then..
Also I hope they don't use the old graphics that would be awful.
But my biggest concern would be the current gaming community which drove me away back in the day in Warlords of Draenor.
No patience, rage quits in dungeons, constant complaining in raids, rushing mentality, loot fixated.
I do think these guys will flood the classic servers.

@Jairone I agree that a short development time under 3 years is very ambitious for Fractured. Most dev teams these days have the problem to keep the publishers happy more than the players. If they are at risk to not meet the estimated release date the publishers are forcing them to release it anyway.
They want to see their invest to give back some revenue. This results are frustrated players cause they think they play a Beta instead of a full released game.
Only big companys with a name can shift out their release dates again and again (Blizzard) cause they have a proven track record. Hard to do so for new or little companies.
