But to go into this more detailed would go beyond the scope.

Ran into
So many stuff, why you don't sort them and make separated, theme based Bug Reports?
But leave the real suggestions here.
There are many things you point out, that is something that will be made in Beta.
That starts from a detailled Charactercreation - thats not implemented yet - but does not stop at adding content and tweaking the client.
There are 3 Steps of Developing:
We are literally at #1 as every Alpha should be.
Maybe with some steps into #2, but that will be mostly a part between Alpha and Beta. We aren't at this point yet.
As for this:
Now, I realize a whole bunch of people (and likely the developers) are going to be offended by much of my opinions, but I no longer have the time or inclination to soften my words for the sake of hubris and ego. These are my opinions, and if they're inaccurate, then I'm wrong. I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again. However, I have been a developer myself for over 20 years, and I've been testing and playing MMO's for more than 20 years too. This isn't my first MMO.
If i wanted to divide your sentences here, i would be able to check a list for every point about usual posting with a big overconfidence.
Where are the "so often words" you shared with us?
I do not have an idea, what Dynamight and we (the Community) did to you, to get in your 8th post this Assessment about us.
In my opinion your suggestions sounds quite harsch.
You don't suggest, you demand "now and immediately".
To be constructive is different than most of what you wrote.
If you wanna really help with your experience, make helpful and detailled Bug Reports.
@r6G4596Y7G9AwD0TzJTxFSZx said in New and wondering if worth it?:
How does a potential tester determine what's in the test before having access to the test?
Because you get informations about the game before you buy in yourself.
A good source are the Developement Journals.
Or, specifically, in the case of Alpha 2, how would you know that only Humans are part of the test, before you get to character creation? Keeping in mind, you can't get to character creation without paying 90 euros..
Because in announcements for the specific Alpha Phase is nothing said about that they added more than one Continent/Planet nor Beastmen nor Demons.
There's no doubt there's a shell of a game here, and if I had paid 10 euros? I wouldn't care. But 90? It's too much for not enough. There's not enough to test, yet, in my opinion. Certainly not 90 euros worth of testing.
We are in an Alpha, that means, we don't have content in sense of playable and entirely enjoyable content. Everyone who is stepping into an Alpha should know that. 90 Euro are not made for an early access. Thats an amount of one Supporter Package of many.
And should i tell you something?
Alpha 2.1 Backer had to pay more for less content. Not to mention Alpha 1.2 and 1.1 Backer.
And another secret, there are people who payed for the game several hundreds or thousands of Euros, even they did not get any content, because the game wasn't even in Pre-Alpha at this point.
And i bet, they see their support worth each single Euro they spent
@Oxfurd said in Have you noticed also?:
Do you research games before you buy?
I am always researching, if i want to buy anything.
Sure, sometimes it is hard to research, but i try to get as much informations about a product as i am able to get. Just with this knowledge i am able to review it or rate it in a correct way.
Our actual consuming behaviour in 2020 is overall very superficial.
One of the main problems in our world, not just the gaming industry.
@r6G4596Y7G9AwD0TzJTxFSZx said in New and wondering if worth it?:
IMO, not really worth it...
... if you expect to get an opportunity just to play a new game now, that will enjoy and fullfill your overall gaming experience.
But if you like to be early involved into a developement progress and want to support the idea and the studio, if you don't mind to face several - even game breaking - bugs, if you like to do just a small part of future content to test again and again, till per example you can't remember anymore how often you build a house, then it is worth every cent you are able and willing to spend.
Just my opinion, but i think i am not alone with it.

Ich wรผrde es Herzblut nennen.
Ich mag das Konzept einfach und wรผnsche dem Studio und natรผrlich auch uns, dass sie bis zum Release durchhalten und ein richtig gutes Spiel abliefern.
I had so much fun.
SpecThor Bannhammer it was a good try
@Shivashanti said in I've Noticed something on Bug reporting.:
look up older bug reports if your bug is reported yet and if you have more details or info to add to it instead of making a new doublepost for the same stuff with the same infos.
Hmm i found the old thread about
Let's copy my Search Help from there to here:
I figured, some people don't know the advanced search in forum, it helps me a lot to find old Bug-Reports:
https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/search
You find the path to it at the searchfield in upper bar.
Then Enter a String that you search, select with CTRL Bug Report Sections and hit the Search Button
You also can save the Filter you was setting, so each time you enter the Search you will directly just search in Bug Reporting until you change it again.
@Oxfurd time to change the Titel of your Thread to something like "How to Bug Reporting"
@Althalus I guess the Youtube Videos will follow, but usually people use these days Twitch way more.
I am sure, there are some Youtuber who will make Reviews, but for the Fast&Now-Consumption you will need to watch some Streams.
@Lakica i was playing around with houses too yesterday.
Lets see, what i figured
@Lakica said in Housing Concerns:
On claim: (-1943 W, 958 N) Malkn's claim we have 3 houses; 1 2X2 with porch co-owner has full access; 2 2X2 one finished no co- owner acess to chest inside, second not built.
Did you set Rights on the Chests to Co-Owner?
The Co-Owner Role on your Claim does not give automatically rights.
But each of you will have rights at the Chest that you placed by your own.
No House Icon for co-owned houses on the Main Map: makes it hard to find again.
As i remember right, Prometheus said at Oxfurds Stream, that they will add Marker. So we just need to be a bit more patient about that feature
Meanwhile you can help yourself to make a Screenshot of the Map to find back to your friends claim.
Inventory Windows on Chest: closing too soon or while moving items to it.
This i was experiencing too... but have not really a regularity found.
You should describe this as own Bug Report.
Rotate: for Houses and housing items would be nice.
There is a rotating... you need to use Q.
If you have select a Blueprint, you will see a small Helpline with usable Hot Keys right above your Actionbar.
Hand Carts: can we have co-own option so we can have one person gather materials while other builts if wanted.
I would like to have this option too
These are what we have noticed and thought would help with the housing. We are also not sure if you wanted to let people built more than one property on a claim; Malkn says that it would be cool if you intend for that to have an option to combine the houses into something later.
I think thats exactly what they wanted to let us do.
I figured you can setup at your personal claim up to 4 houses.
I made 3 - the 2x2 with Porch and two other 2x2. Each with own "use".
A small village
We will need to wait a bit, till they really implement the Town System.
In the Design Journal about Towns is decribed, that you start small with a Hamlet on a Town Space and grow it up to a Town while adding different kinds of Buildings and Places to it.
A bit like the Startertown, they just can become bigger than that
On on another note, it would be nice to have party member icons on the minimap.
I think that we will get sooner or later.
It would help to find them, since the view is very limited and people who run out of your screen can be lost forever.
@Lakica said in Housing Concerns:
@Lakica I forgot to add that the fireplace doesn't allow co-owner to cook.
I had same, i guess it also has no Permission Symbol nor move Symbol in the Menu.
We builded a new one that had all options and destroyed the old one.
But that i consider definetively as a bug, since all interactive Structures should have these options, no matter when and who builded them.
There should be reports about, i have it in whole at my list for my summary later.
Nice finds, keep testing and having fun
@dj35 said in Getting attacked while at campfire:
( thanks specter)
As for the laying on ground.
That i had on a campfire yesterday too, but without an Creature.
Oxfurd should have it on the stream, since he saw it too.
Btw. when it happened, the Resting Window did not appear when i was laying down at the campfire, so i guess i just stucked in the resting and the client did not realized i broke that animation.
I could break it, when i used a Cast.
I think that problem is hitting us, because sides of objects mostly don't prevent shooting through.
While the ground and harvestable things like trees, stones, plants often block Casts&Arrows, other things do not, like decorative bushes, Housewalls and the sides of hills.
@Oxfurd poor Specter will have much more work then
If i watch the Forum, we have almost a very good report behaviour.
I see here very seldom derails.
I think such things can help to make it more sorted:
...more to add ... who want to write some suggestions to the people who use the Alpha Test Forum?
@Roccandil if you noticed, the small bubbles at the circle have different colors.
Each Color has 3 bubbles, so you get at 3 the level 1, means activated, at 6 the level 2.
To get to Level 2, all 4 Elements need to be 6. (right values you see in the Guide by Pedro, it was not entirely investigated by me. My mistake )
I will play around today a bit with and will report if it is working
@Shivashanti I guess for the Head we will get options later on.
There are many resources that have no use yet.
I am hoping for a very detailled Crafting later on.
But as for the Direwolf skin, i can confirm that too.
I made now same move like @Absolit did.
Taking Material in hand, click on handcart and directly on the Blueprint gives an almost 100% to duplicate it.
My "method" is just a case of 1/10, since the click on Blueprint first and then again on Cart seems to be more consistent.
I am agreeing.
But i have concerns, if it would be better, when we would have more sections, since people keep to post in one. Some people might see their suggestions as major issue. Hard to set a good line there.
What we could do is to write a kind of How-To-Post-Bugreports.
We had such one written by someone in Pre, just don't remember who it was.
But in general it was some Guideline how to write a good report and sort its importance by yourself
Hmm the Tub i was setting had no Permission Settings:
On the one that Lohen was building in my Plot there are settings, that he can access too.
And now the Tub is reacting normal for us both.
I changed the Name of the Thread, since there seems to be problems with the Permission rights as some structures in general.
There is a Report about Chests.
Probably my report report is same Bug [FRAC-1788] @Prometheus
If yes, then please merge this just to the other one
Another affected structure in my house is the Fireplace, where Lohen can't cook at.
Previous Titel was: [A2.2.0] Using of Tanning Tub as Co-Owner
For a Tanning Tub there is no Permission settings.
But my Co-Owner @Lohen can access the Tanning Tub.
He was placing his hides in it, but when i opened my Tub, i did not see them.
He also had his hides still in his inventory as he noticed then.
I was placing then my own hides into the Tub.
He saw them and tried to interact.
He could move the Leather into his Inventory.
This Action i could not see at my client, means nothing got removed.
At his Client the item appears supposed in his inventory, but don't leave the Tub for real.
When he was doing anything (Moving/Stacking) with the item in his inventory, it disappears.
