      @Althalus I was today traveling from Goblin hills all along the coast till Northgard Mountains and then down again back to the Heartwood.
      I was enjoying it much.
      Even i know it is still empty, i can imagine what they are able to add.
      Was at this small place left from the Northguard Mountains at the Shore... and i really being curious about, what there will be in future.

      And of course i saw very difficult Vegetation while my travel.
      From Desert like Area, till the Oakwood Forest, where you just find Oaks.

      I do not really know, what you are expecting.
      We know, that the most areas are not filled up yet with POIs, but we also know for sure, they will get filled up till release.
      You just need to get some more fantasy mind and you will be able to imagine. πŸ˜›

    • RE: [A2.2.0] No Permission Settings for some Structures

      All of my structures that had no options, do have now all needed Options to move and set permissions and such things.

      But i can't set any permission at them:

      Can't check one of the Rights.

      That happens especially at the Weaving Station, Grinder and the Workbench, where i had no move and permission option.
      The other who had before the right options works fine.

      Yeah, almost everywhere where a leaves decoration is at a ridge, it is floating.
      I came across multiple of them today, while i was exploring the modelling of the biomes all around the World.

      @Roccandil Yeah, i am agreeing, some Fast Travel Spots can be good and some nice feature to prevent several annoyances.
      In Salem the Game we had also hours of traveling, if you wanted to find the hidden witch town of someone far in the Darkness.
      But there was some very few Travelpoints, where you could start to travel from.
      Also it was possible to fast travel from your Home to the NPC Town.
      It was even possible to travel from everywhere in the wild back to your home, but you had to empty your inventory before.

      I had same right now at a fox while traveling, killed him with my Mage Staff, but no rights to loot.

      There are also another big points why these fast travel is not good for such a game:

      • PVE: very fast travel options lead to less player interactivity, its a bit like in real world, where you take a seat to your car in your garage, drive to your work/supermarket/cinema where you just place your car into the underground car park, take the elevator and vice versa at the evening if you want to go back home.

      • PVE: just teleporting to the POIs lead to not to look to left and right, but to be able to tell everyone after 2 weeks of the game "I am done with the game, because i played it through."

      • PVP: no preparation time for defenders, because the offender just can jump to your place and fight you down.

      We are in a big open world, where it matters, what you want to do and how your plan your travels. It would take much atmosphere out of the game, if we just be able to jump from A to B on the other side of the map.

      Of course, for testing purposes it could be possible to give temporary such options. But in my opinion it is important to see the traveltimes, and see, how you can balance them later with mount travels and other possibilities.

      It would be quite boring, if i could jump in no time a distance that would have been otherwise taken hours to travel.

      Yeah, i like the enchanting system too.

      Would like to have something similar for cooking.
      Like having a main ressource (Meat, Fish, Vegetables) and need to add spices to get a special food in a special level πŸ™‚

      You can use the stuff in starter town well, except the Enchanting table.
      You can open the Enchanting Window, but if you try to place something in it, it does not drop it there, instead it is going back to your inventory.

    • [A2.2.0] Weird reproducable Lags always at same places

      Today i was going back to the Startertown to get there some testing of stuff.
      I noticed while recording some town views that i get a weird lag at special places.
      I know they are outside of the town too, but not that obvisous. At the town you get some more of these so i noticed more and after i could reproduce it all the time, i think there is something wrong.

      It is like you get a hickup of your movement, if you pass these places.
      Mostly the lag/hickup is just in one direction, if you run over it in the opposite, nothing happens and your walk stays smooth.

      There are plenty of this points, just want to list some of them, that others are able to reproduce it too:

      1. If come from the fields and go to the marketplace between the empty Hall and the House with the Tanning Tubs to the fields, then directly in front of the Door is one of these Lag Sources at ca. -2561W -1056N
        If you go in opposite direction this "break" is at a later point around the end of the houses at ca. -2562W -1045N

      2. if you come from the River and walk the road above the Cotton Field in direction to the Town, then at -2575W -1009N around you get that Lag/Break, but not if you go in direction to the River.

      3. directly in front of the empty Hall at the Marketplace. If i go up left from the Door and if i go down right from the door.

      True for own spells there is a blocking at up and downhill.

      And yeah in case of PVE and where creatures can run through or hit you, is the advantage for sure at side of the Mob πŸ˜„
