My thoughts about choosing a Coastal Town was, that this test was all about Towns and it's ressources and working Harbors. I wanted to test, how a harbor works, so it was logical to choose such a town.
Next time we maybe choose a totally different place, maybe not even a big town.
All is depending on what the next test is focussing on.

It is already a pain to decribe directions, since north/south is not up/down and west/east is not left/right, because the ingame map got turned to the side for 45Β° to fit the Minimap.
Your example with that wider view, when you mouse out on the edges, is a quite nice one.
Often i get problems to see creatures and if i see them, they already are in aggro range.
At the moment the Legends are such a thing. I was looking for their shadows, just not to step to close to them.
Others did not and just pulled them too early.I guess such a "spy-mode" would make the overview way better.

Agreeing too.
Not just such message, a Party UI with some more features would be nice.
We had yesterday the problem after our Party Leader left the game, that we could not figuring out, if all people are still online. So an activity/online indicator for group members would be nice. (same for guild)

As for the other things you said, i sadly need to agree you and welcome back to the forum.
Even as a frightened old girl, i wish to have the fear factor.
And i really can't understand as you can't either, why people cry about Fractured Loot System, that was planned exactly like this from the first day of the idea.

The Party System seems to be broken since 2.4.1
Before that patch it was like this:- someone opened a party as a leader and invited others
- if you got Officer rights, you could invite too and remove every party member, who isn't officer
- party was persistent all over the time, even after a relog
After the patch:
- party window is empty with each relog
- if you needed to relog and got a reinvite and got promoted to Officer, you didn't see the party kick buttons at anyone else
- if you invite as a party officer, you just see the kick button for this one, but not the other ones
- if a party leader need to relog, the rest of the party is existing, but you can't reinvite anyone, maybe because no leader exist
- that means you need to disband the party and open a new one

@Prometheus I know that @Ostaff was traveling to our harbor before the patch, and in our log never was anything about Tax.
Also myself was traveling from Roccandils town to our harbor and tax got payed by me, but never came up in our townhall.
I even counted gold income and it did not raised.The first entry at our log we got after 2.4.1 patch.

I was thinking about the same as you describe.
To hold a rank consciously would be great, but is also in some kind easy to abuse, if we don't get some downsides if we do so. The Ranksystem is in its child shoes, we got this test the first implemention and it will not be the final version.The rank system will get a big change in next test. Prometheus said:

That being said, mining city are not meant to be able to rank up (above the first few ranks) unless they buy farming products from farming citiesIdeally, a well-populated mining city should actually have no farming plots internally (because it needs all the space for shops and houses and +prestige decorations) and buy all edibles from farming cities."
So i think we will need to wait a bit to be able to evaluate it entirely.

The page look is good.
Maybe give it some more "Fractured Look", means using some Header graphic and the Fractured brownish look?
But it always says:
Filling it with some example data to show something, or if you already did, the search isn't working as intended i think.Also please add a description/help page about how to use the page features
Some legal note would be great too and a link to the game, to show, where the rights for the content is.

True. If you watch other stats, like Strength, there is indeed a difference, for example Strenght increases Max Life ingame.
The Problem is, INT is the only one, that effect a core Element of the game, the amount of skills you are able to take to your Preset. No other Stat has so much impact.
It is maybe a thing, that Devs should look into, to separate the Memory Point amount from actual character stats and bind them at a special Stat, that is possible to increase ingame. But i do not have an idea how to handle it better, since it shouldnβt be a stat you should not be able to increase that easy in reason of the horizontal progression. -

Curious about the Blog Post, because i have open questions:
- How to keep the towns rank up, if fields are still broken?
- Whats are the new List view, it seems to be fixed for the ranks itself, but now it shows insane values for low ranks?
- Well i guess the Blog will explain, that i have to pay 750, 28, 56 till i payed the debt or falling to zero and lose my town.

@spoletta yes, you are true, that should get need a check, like you canβt memorize a Talent Preset with less INT, if you have a Ability set memorized, that needs more INT. But thats easier to implement, since both is to set at the same place.
Equipment you can change whenever you want, Memorizing just with resting at Fireplaces.But directly an edit:
