Congratulation! -
RE: Test
@lecter The next test will be in February (at least planned).
The Winter Test will likely last for some weeks again. -
RE: [Demons, US] Teufelstein
@Trug nice description, wish you good luck with your guild and many player who want to travel same way.
I just have one question, why you used a german word for your stone, since you are located in US?
I am just interested into this background -
RE: Parcel Contest - The Saga Continues...
Even it is not just a parcel, but your story and the use of fields are very nice, love it!
I wish soo hard, that we will get in beta some addition to the town decoration possibilities.
Just imagine to be able to add bushes, planting trees and add some lantern - i would be so falling infor that.

RE: [A2.4.2] Chopping Trees, some logs fall under the ground
@Trug don't worry
As for the forum, there is an advanced search, where you even can save your default search settings.- accessible with the small blue wheels
I made a saved setting, that when i am using the search bar, i am just searching the Bug Report Forum.
Very helpful during tests. - accessible with the small blue wheels

RE: Dracondar a RP hub city on Arborea
@rieitdd We have some roleplaying people in our community, so i am very sure, there will be RP "Hubs".
Me personally is someone who doesn't really like to make Hubs, since i am trying to RP everywhere.
But yeah, for sure we should have some places, that we can push to be "meeting places".
The ShrooffeeBars of @Gothix and me will be surely one of these places.
Since we are a Sandbox Game, where we create our own Lore, we will be responsible to establish these content. Would be a shame, if we wouldn't do it. -
RE: Feedback from Weekend Test
Nice to see new backers
As for your "Good":
Nicely written and good suggestions.
A preview of all houses would be awesome.
We try to add them to the Wiki, but the zoom factor isn't anything, that support us in a good way, to get the houses on a screenshot.
Hopefully the Devs can give us some nice ingame 3D preview tool. It could have added to the Blueprint itself, before you place it, like pushing SHIFT shows the building in finished form and CTRL the building in finished form but without roof, if you release these keys, you see the normal blueprint (blue/red) on your mouse again. As for your "not-so-good"s:
Good that you mentioned it, because some of them was already suggested and discussed in the past.Adding Talents to the Tutorial would be for sure anything useful, totally up for that
Rebinding keys is a long time wish by Alpha-Testers, and they promised to add that - hopefully soon
The Targeting also was mentioned several times. In general i like the targetting system as it is, means that you need to have your mouse over the target to target it. But yeah, without this looting issue and also the overlapping problem, when someone is standing in front of the creature, would be awesome. -
RE: Arbitrary Skill Restrictions
Nice feedback.
I love the idea with skipping the restriction of armor and skills.
I would also like to see, that there wouldn't be any restriction in wearing stuff, but have a penalty to skills.
They even can go up to 100%, like if you wear a special material armor, that is consuming all your magical affinity, if you wear it. -
RE: No Hunger & Rest Depletion In Towns.
I voted for No, because i don't think you should be able to "rest" in the whole town.
I would go for Yes, when there would be an option where your suggestion is just valid while you at a fireplace, at least into a tavern or your own house with a fireplace or a bed inside.
But since your character is working in town, there should be also a hunger and engery loss, as long you are doing anything. -
RE: [A2.4.2] Chopping Trees, some logs fall under the ground
@Trug for this non lootable Logs is an own Bug Report made.
I also added some who even lean on grass. -
RE: [Parcel Contest] Tower Defense
Nice Minigame you made
But why you just have 10 FPS? -
RE: [Parcel Contest] Coming Home
Okay, who ever sent a goat to my parcel - @Ostaff? - when i came back from hard work of building up all four stockpiles again, my lawn was a bit trimmed!
-
RE: [Parcel Contest] Coming Home
@PeachMcD i made my Grindstone public, i guess thats the reason for.
-
RE: [Parcel Contest] Coming Home
@Ostaff said in [Parcel Contest] Coming Home:
You seriously need to buy some goats! That grass of yours is way out of control!!!
Would love to have a goat at my parcel!!!

RE: [A2.4.2] City Building
I want to add some screenshots about it, since we talk about same town where we experience them.
-> Environment that respawns after removing a Dirt Road is not interactable (gatherable resources, stones, strees ...)
Confirmed, even a relog doesn't work.
But i can pick up a small stone at this area, that appeared after removing the Road.
-> Can't place Blueprints because "Terrain not flat enough to place this blueprint" even though it definitely is, which in every City Plot I have seen so far, leads to a lot of unbuildable terrain for no reason.
Per example all along this Road Edge (Position -1762 W -725 N) for a space of 3 Roadplots.
-> Most buildings have a size of uneven numbers, but the roads are always 2x2, which leads to a lot of space that can't be used.
Yes, per example the Stockpile Buildings, they are a bit bigger than a Roadplot, so you aren't able to set 2 Storages directly to each other, because they overlap a tiny bit.
Per example this Stone Stockpile, you can set a road directly next to it:
But you can't place another stockpile (Screenshot is made with the road under it, but it is same without the road):
Would be maybe important for small cities to be able to place them to each other, since the space is very limited.
-> Sometimes Blueprints show as buildable but when you want to place them, nothing happens.
This behaviour i had in previous tests, it shows a valid blueprint but you can't place.
Do you have an example to screenshot it @Eurav ?
-> Can't remove Dirt Roads that are next to a building, even if that building would still be connected to the street without it.
Per example a Dirt road behind my own parcel, it is connected to a road to the other side, so it should be possible, to remove the "wrongly" places road on the back side:
Position for road to remove: -1722 W -754 N
Position for road that gives the Plot valid build position: -1725 W -725 N
-> Can't remove placed Land Parcels, built Paved Roads, built Buildings.
I remember, that @Prometheus said, he want to give us an option to do that.
I think it is important to be able to remove personal plots, that are unclaimed, for reason to free the place for other stuff, especially, if you accidential placed the plot on a wrong place.
Especially for small cities it is very important, since the space is very limited. -
[A2.4.2] Settings not persistent/saved after Logout/Exit
When i change my Resolution Settings and logout/exit the game, it reverts back to the default settings, means i always have to start my game in Fullscreen at 2560x1440 and need to change my settings each game session back to 1920x1080 (windowed).

[Parcel Contest] Coming Home
After a long day it is alway good to have a home to come back, for relaxing, for silence... for removing the lawn, that is grown all over

[Urgent QoL Suggestion] Chat Feature "Stop Scrolling" (+ add mute)
I really like it to answer questions in General Chat, but from test to test it is getting harder to follow the chat or even able to read questions that are scrolled out.
Especially at the first day of an open test and also actual, where some people think they need to spam the chat with self-admirations and harrassment to other players. If you try to read a question, thats scolled out, you can scroll the chat to find it, but every time someone is typing again, the chat scrolls automatically back to the last message. Sometimes it is very very annoying to scroll again and again, just to be able to read the full question (or answer).
Please add a possibility to turn off the automatical scrolling.
We will also need a possibility to mute players.
Also yesterday i experienced, when i asked a guy to write his PVP stuff in the Local chat, that i just got the answer like "No i don't do that, just mute me." - Yeah, if we just would be able to mute
Some player don't want to stop their trolling or even harrassing, i guess it is better for all of us, if we are not relied on Moderation to stop them, but can "stop" them at least for ourself.I know it will not be a feature for now, but hopefully something we can get before the next Open Test.
