@Chapex Yeah, that sounds very odd.
But that means, Fractured is thousand times better
They did not fund that much yet, but they already have a playable Alpha... well, when the server are up

@Yitra said in Hitboxes depending on size of player characters ?:
I didn't pay any attention to this, to be honest, but if size of hitboxes is a thing, shouldn't that also be already noticeable in PvE. Rabbits versus Large Ents like etc?
I didn't had any trouble hitting/clicking on all kinds of beasts, even the rabbits were easy to hit.
While i also didn't had troubles at normal creatures, fighting in groups was much affected by hitboxes.
In Fractured you have different ways to hit.
You have several skills that always triggers and that you just need to focus the direction to hit.
Then you have skills that you have to trigger at a special range.
And then you have these who need the cursor on the hitbox of the opposite.
Beside, that i really would like it, if a hitbox of the Entities matter - just to say- the actual system makes hitboxes problematic.
Two Enemies that are standing close to each other or another player in front of them, can overlap their Hitboxes, if you don't have the hitbox inline to your own view to the Desktop, you can't hit the wanted target, because it is hidden behind your own (player) view. Same happens, if your character technically stands behind the Creature and would have it in perfect line of sight.
It would be easier, if we would be able to turn our camera. But that will not happen. My idea would be then to change the hitbox target priority depending on the position of the character.
@Razvan said in Can we have other means of information beside Twitch Q&A sessions?:
Just to say, about the question itself, what i wrote above.
But yeah, i wish too, to get more continuously content pills with small insights to the special Roadmap Points for it.
But even if i would expect more social interaction and communication, i know, thats not what "i payed for"
In my opinion, they give us quite much informations, especially the important ones.
So i do not see a lack of communication. Rather than that a quite good one.

@Kralith
Projectiles should stop in the first collision box they hit. I don't see anything wrong with that and it's a legit tactic for zvz: tanks stay in the frontline and protect the dps by body-blocking skillshots. Anyway, to my understanding, Fractured will have character collision, so 2 characters won't be able to stand on the same tile but imo this only adds more problems, both technically and gameplay-wise.
I am going totally with you.
But for now the decision, what is in front is made by players view, not where the character itself is standing. That means if you as a tank is standing in front of my players view, but my character is standing on the other side directly at the enemy game wise, i can‘t hit it. That doesn‘t make sense.
I am very up for a body collision tanking mechanism, but it should not just depend on what you as a player is seeing.
It always should depending on characters view/position.
@Razvan yeah, i think drops should be always just used as a "material" for crafting.
Even item drops.
I pointed, that if per example a Goblin drops his bow, it should be almost useless for being equiped, but can be used to get other materials or is a base for a special item to craft.
Also i can imagine a kind of disenchanting for them.
In my opinion, creatures should never drop useful Armor/Weapons, but drop materials for special super duper crafted items.
That can even be a super rare crystal or dust to get best enchanted item with it.
And i think that exactly is planned.
To get Enchants to highest Level for all, you will need super special and super rare drops by boss creatures.

I would like if special combinations gives extras to the enchanting, like a roll on luck to get a chance for a higher value.
Special combinations could be
As for your ( @maze ) grades of materials, I would like if we would find different grades of same material.
Maybe depending on how you killed your creature:
@Chenny2025 technically you can‘t debate about tastes.
And you even can‘t debate about technical review, since Fractured still is at its core feature tests.
Comparing is not really possible in this cases.
What we can debate about is, if the supposed Gamedesign is better/not better than other games.
Fractured surely does not discover a next new wheel, it takes ideas from previous games, digital and P&P. The thing we can rate is the whole concept.
In my opinion the whole design with having a player driven world that combines all play styles is something that many other studios tried, but never delivered, because they wanted to design it as one world for all player. Dynamight is going another path. The 3 Planet system is an quite good idea with a good chance that it can work well.
I am here, because it would make me super happy to have a game, where i am able to play with absolutely carebears and hardcore PVPler aswell. Their design idea is promising, all we can do is crossing fingers, that it works.
Yeah, that area is new.
I was very surprised, when i saw it and i love this place.
Always when they add these small things, i get the the certainty that the game is on a very good path.
Imagine such places all over the continents and planets.
When i was exploring some tests ago the world by foot, i came across some places with such a potential.
@bazzle said in Game suggestions:
Also removing the purple after dieing from campfire.
This feature was introduced for this test.
And i think it should not get removed again, because it would be a step back from the vision about "It matters, how you prepare yourself, before you are going to an adventure."
Removing all the bad stuff again at a simple campfire would make Taverns almost useless.
I like that you have to be more careful now, that you have to try not getting KOed.
@Woode since the Lore is based on the greek mythology, you can try to find a nice fitting name there
@Ostaff Well, he even played today. So i guess it isn't that shitty at all.
If i would think his way, i would drop to play the game immediately.
My hope is, that he is learning, that insulting isn't the right way. But being constructive will give him more possibilities to get his experience heared by the Devs and maybe there is a small chance that the game will be more like he want it.
@Ostaff yes that is it.
All depends on Knowledge.
An old player will have more Knowledge, skill and real experience wise.
But if an old player wears same as the Newbie and just take the starter spells in their action bar, they will be theoretically equal.
The old player will still be more comfortable with the controls, but is not stronger or weaker than the new one.
Thank you Prometheus.
I am always appreciating your open words.
You proofed several times now, that you don't hide your mistakes and gives the feedback we need, when it is neccessary.
cross my fingers that you can get work done and satisfying the community.
Don't worry, most of us know, how hard your work is and how much hearth blood you put in it.

I figured, if you use autotranslate, you never learn the language.
I started 3 years ago to play multinational and in english, before that i just learned it in school long time ago and never used it for communication with other people. I was just reading IT related texts.
When i started to communicate in english, i was terrible to understand and i mostly don't got what other wanted from me.
But a bit training, a bit google, a bit driving around the point and it worked well after a while.
My conclusion is, that an automatic translator don't make our communication better.
@Logain said in Twitch Q&A Video recording is where...?:
important points should be transcribed
Time for the community to do that!
Since they are a very small studio, we can stay as a community behind them and help with such stuff.
We did that in the past too.
I would be glad, if a community member, who is native or very good english speaking, takes the video and creates a summary out of the Q&A
