      @graboidmobster good point.
      In my opinion should be every handcrafting receipe visible on a workbench too, since it does not make sense not to be able to craft things on it, that you can otherwise craft elsewhere.

      There are many things you point out, that is something that will be made in Beta.
      That starts from a detailled Charactercreation - thats not implemented yet - but does not stop at adding content and tweaking the client.

      There are 3 Steps of Developing:

      1. Make it work.
      2. Make it right.
      3. Make it nice.

      We are literally at #1 as every Alpha should be.
      Maybe with some steps into #2, but that will be mostly a part between Alpha and Beta. We aren't at this point yet.

      Now, I realize a whole bunch of people (and likely the developers) are going to be offended by much of my opinions, but I no longer have the time or inclination to soften my words for the sake of hubris and ego. However, I have been a developer myself for over 20 years, and I've been testing and playing MMO's for more than 20 years too. This isn't my first MMO.

      Where are the "so often words" you shared with us?
      I do not have an idea, what Dynamight and we (the Community) did to you, to get in your 8th post this Assessment about us.

      In my opinion your suggestions sounds quite harsch.
      You don't suggest, you demand "now and immediately".
      To be constructive is different than most of what you wrote.
      If you wanna really help with your experience, make helpful and detailled Bug Reports. 😉

      I am going here with @SakuTheMedic and @Silynx, because one of the Game Design Ideas is, that you need to chose your Skillset depending on what you want to make. One of the results of this idea are the Wisps.
      Yeah, they are super annoying and very hard to get for a solo player, who has not the needed skills for. But quite easy, if you go with two friends with some before collected skills from other creatures.

      I like the idea, that you need to change your equip and skills to be able to do different things.
      How boring it would be, if you are running all the time with the same equip and skills and be able to kill all enemies with it?

      Hmm i do not know why you think about limiting us or making copy&paste design.
      If you go along a ridge in real World or even a big Mountain, you are also not able to just easy jump up/down or cross it.
      Yeah in modern world it is easier, but think about the romans, who wanted to go over the Alps to reach Europe north of them.
      They needed months to find/build a way for all the military troops.
      Mostly people had to go around it and find a path. Or use some Abilities&Tools.
      Do you know, if there will be not other possibilities to jump/climb over these ridges later on?
      I also never had a real problem to find the next path of the ridges, you even see them on the Map.

      None Ridges or Mountains feeled for me like copy&paste. @Tuoni

      To make every 10 Meters a path through them, would feel for me way more copy&paste, and boring to remove them all and just to have a flat-everywhere-to-walk-without-hurdles-map.

      And yeah, i would like if we would be able to climb Mountains in one or another way, to find a special hidden treasure on top of them.
      But i doubt the game design is made for this.

      Clicking on the icon of a material in a crafting recipe now opens the crafting page of that material if the latter is crafted in the same crafting station / menu.

      Paved roads built by players now give the speed bonus like pre-existing paved roads.

      Very nice changes!

      In my opinion, the aiming system is great for an isometric (click and run/act) game.
      The Devs said, there will be no tab targetting.

      Second thing is skills tree , that thing shut be more friendly for players .
      Why i shut lay on the ground close to fire place to remember my skills ? Thats crazy and not firendly for new players like me .

      Because of the game design it is like this.
      You should proably read the old Spotlights, to get a bit idea about, what the game want to be. 😉

      Zunächst einmal wirst du lange Zeit brauchen, um allein das Wissen auf deinem Heimatplaneten zu erforschen. Als PvE Inhalt wird es zahlreiche Expeditionen geben, die du unternehmen musst, um dieses Ziel zu erreichen. Dann gibt es auch noch die Asteroiden, die zahlreiche Abenteuer bergen. Nebenbei wird die Stadt in der du vielleicht lebst dich mit Vielem beschäftigen, nicht zuletzt auch besonders die Stadtpolitik.
      Und wenn dir das alles nicht genug ist, ab nach Tataros und mische dich in endlose Schlachten um die besten Plätze und Resourcen.

      Da das Spiel besonders auf Spielerinteraktion in vielerlei Hinsicht ausgerichtet ist, wird es sicher lange Zeit Spielspaß bereiten.

      @boogis I didn‘t say anything about automatic. I just pointed out other storages, that open with one click. With my suggestion you just spare 2 clicks, as other storages too.
      I am also against automation, just to say.

      Das Problem ist ja an sich, dass wir alle nicht so genau wissen, welche Gebiete uns wirkliche Vorteile geben.
      Nahe einer Mine ist sicher gut, aber sollte halt auch kurze Wege zu anderen Biomes haben.
      Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass wir in Alpha 1 erst mal so grundsätzlich ne Ahnung davon bekommen, was überhaupt wichtig ist und unsere vermeintlich gut gewählten Plätze könnten sich dann vielleicht auch als nicht so optimal erweisen.

      I would like to see short internal Alphatests, where we test mechanics without opening it to the masses, with a nice catalog of testing stuff made by the devs, that we can check point for point.
      With provided materials, so we can test that stuff in 2-3 days.

      Then an open test inbetween to see all working mechanics together, as we have now. This test can work as it is at the moment, with free keys for Streamer Communities.

      But i am not sure, if this is already too late for this suggestion.

      For first i just link my both Suggestions here, since they are direct related to the City Management. More i will write next days.

      [QoL] Better Management of Town Citizen - mainly about the need of an extended Citizen list and the visibility for Governors of Account related to the Characternames

      [PVP QoL] Visible Relation of Residents+Citizen to own town - about visibility of citizen/residents for own city to see ingame who is related to your own town

      More points will be:

      • Size of a city: way too small for getting enough prestige for rank 13-15
      • Permission System: adding a rank for new citizen, to be able to restrict new people till they showed, they are trustful (especially Reason of Smelter, Advanced Smelter, Tanning Tubs and Chests)
      • Walls should give Prestige. What else than a big and strong Wall shows more the glory of a town?
      • Reworking of Prestige in general, Storage Piles gives more Prestige on same space than a Town House or a personal plot with a nice big house. It would even give more prestige to build up 4 cheap stockpiles (=400) than a prison (=300) on the same townspace.
      • Communication: Towns need a channel for communication, either a chat (local but private) and/or a blackboard.
      • Wasted space: In town there is a need of so many streets, since all buildings need to snap at the street, it waste so much space. Also between buildings is way too much space or a rest of space left, because it doesn't fit exactly. Also we would have a need to know which size Buildings will take, means to show the blueprint, even we can't build them in reason of the Research. Nothing is more frustrating, if you figure out at a high rank, that the left over space for the building you planned isn't big enough.
      • Marketplace & Bank shouldn't be locked behind a research, since it is a key element for each town. I would more change the actual Research for it to:
        • "Player Market" - adds the ability for player to sell their own stuff
        • "Guild Bank" - adds a bank accessible for all guild member.
