Sounds like you didn't read a single thing about the game before making this post.
Seriously go to the News section and read everything!

the Demons are auto ported off the planet after 30 minutes. so anywhere within a 30m radius will be reachable.
@humerus pvp will happen just for pvp sake. demons invading the fury planet will happen because we can see furies run and scream and shout about.

I'll go and post my 5 cents
I'm not sure if Fractured would benefit from huge population of uninvested players. It's a game model where players have to invest their time for the game to work as a whole. So even if they succed in F2P without P2W the game quality would probably drop.
without some type of method to try the game, you really never know if you'll like. and this game wont be a game to know that with a few day trial.
@Farlander said in Suggestion: Currency names:
Real world currency is a promissory note backed by the rare metal upon which the currency standard is in use.
I dont know any country that has gold backed currency. I know the US dropped that back in 60 or 70's, whenever Nixxon was Pres.

In my opinion, the best F2P model would be such which sells just cosmetics in the cash shop...
I'ma let you finish but up to there youre good!
IMO, a QoL shouldn't ever be behind a paywall.
I've been playing BDO lately and I've noticed they will have periods where they offer the box game (their lowest tier package of 10$) for free with the idea that they'll make more within the cash shop or from pack upgrades. I could see Dynamight offing the box game for free with some type of stipulation like earning x amount of Knowledge within the event period.
guess we'll see. but i've been though a few dozen game launches and the new games always have too many players the first 3 months.
we dont have any idea because it's in testing phase which means things are optimized, not enough typical playerbase.
odds are if it was made or built in the past 6 years, you'll be fine.
there's nothing stopping furies from traveling to the human or demon planets. if you're a fury and want to pvp then just find a way to the other planets.
i'd expect double to triple that the first 1-3 months when you release. assuming you're going to push some marketing a few months before you release.
right. unless you actually took that and made it as your avatar then i really thought you didn't have one.
this one looks much better!
i dont remember one at all though.
you..
you have an avatar pic \o/
@Specter said in King Of Syndesia:
King of Syndesia is just the name of the pack. It doesn't mean that player is an actual king with various gameplay benefits, otherwise it would have been Pay-To-Win.
I do find that a funny comment as RMT will run wild in fractured.

My question is the game going to be able to handle 50v50 fighting on the same screen?
i dont even think 100 can fit on the screen simultaneously.
If there is collision detection, then no; otherwise, they can fit on the screen and it will look like this. Having collision detection adds a lot of complexity and griefing opportunities, so the second scenario is more plausible.
we've been told that players can block others. so i assume it's in the game.
@Fortie said in Attacks on settlements by NPCs:
@Jetah But if you cannot be there at time, then you lost all your stuff what you build like 2 days (for example) ? I don't know, it is better to not be forced to be online at any time, because of work and other things in our life !
the game is a mmo. if it were a single player i'd agree with you but each community had people there nearly all day. and it wasn't as though the mob would just spawn in the town and start wrecking it. it would spawn in the camp of it's species and walk, really slowly, and wreck stuff as it traveled. you could kill it early and it wouldn't do much. as it walked, those that see it would relay that it's on x road near y camp heading toward z city if they couldn't kill it.
I played a small mmo that was developed out of a hobby. they had small areas for housing which the players could fix up. (they could fix lamp post, trusses, roads, etc, while also building houses). there were random times where NPC would smash the place up and if it wasn't defended most of the properties were destroyed in various amounts. it was a neat little call to arms to defend the bigger houses which housed the crafting tools while it wasn't annoying in that it happened every day/week.

@Farlander said in Will food rot?:
I sure hope not. Nothing worse than spending a few hours gathering food only to log back in and it's all gone. That used to happen in another game I played. Very frustrating to say the least. There is a level of realism that just doesn't translate over to a game world where you are not "living" 24/7.
so long as food has some length of time it isn't bad. but when food rots in less than 12 rl hours then it's a problem. IE if plants lasted for a real month while meat lasted 15 days. maybe meat could be salted to increase the duration to 30 days.
