i played a few asian games where you upgraded your gear and at first i loved it but then it gets to a point where you never see gear drops.

i've been more excited in games that offer different gear with better stats.

i've never seen a game that has testing backer packs and release packs in which the testing didn't carry over.

3 guild members start guilds, form an alliance. now you have 3 towns!

although we don't know what it'll take to support them.

it's one step at a time. Steam didn't have most of what it had when it started.

i have a feeling they'll keep the Foundation into release and then change it. I do enjoy the idea of being active on the forums to get cosmetics, which a forum ban would greatly hurt people if they are toxic and want to collect things. But I also hate the Reddit and other 3rd party platforms will be void of post.

As developer I would still choose Steam as platform to sell on, simply because of the much larger user count.
Yeah, I would make less money per sale, but that is balanced by the amount of extra sales I get by selling on Steam.

Discord is boasting 200m users. Not to mention the included games with Nitro.

Epic has had that game engine for years. i doubt they'll create a copy of a game when they're getting revenue by someone using their engine.

I do love Discord and they've recently published a thing where they intend to keep 10% of the sales and put the other 90% into the developers pocket.

alpha hasn't started so you'll be waiting another month or longer for it.

it'll depend on my mood and how the game develops during the testing phases, how the developers treat the players, if there are loot boxes, etc.

just call your bank, or use an online form if they have it, and let them know you're going to be making a charge and it'll go through. do this when you travel out of state too so your card isn't shut off while at a gas station -.- (yes this happened to me!)

we could ask DS to put a streamer page up that list anyone streaming their game

how will a pure demon guild control a human planet village? they can't. How will a Human guild control a beastkin village. they can't.

there are game mechanics that prevent negative karma demons from staying on either other planet, same with other neutral or high karma from staying on other planets.

in Eve Online, it's been speculated that the developers get into big alliances and try to break them up or help other alliances to break up the big ones. CCP knew it was bad when 1 alliance controlled majority of the null space.

just look at the game directory or go the /fractured or /fracturedmmo game directory to find people streaming. it's kind of the whole point of it.

3 planets. limited time on another planet when you're not within the correct karma amounts.

demons can invade beastkin planet but will only have 30 minutes on the planet.
demons and humans will invade each other but more frequently.

Crowfall will have temporary worlds which prevents your issue.
