If I were on that stupid planet and find my stuff wiped after 24hrs I would just say this game sucks and never open it again. Even assuming they're downloading a separate game for a "crappy" planet (how are they going to experience different things when people who want to PVP will just screw the guys trying to build houses? No PVP? Then the PVPers won't experience anything).
No offense but I absolutely hate demo versions, I never ever buy the actual game if they sink low enough to make a demo version.
i remember when things weren't "free" and it was pirate or get a demo to see if you liked it. this was well before youtube and twitch streaming nearly every game ever built.
I'm sure if there was a huge DEMO on the screen you'd understand it better. (this assume it isn't free)

No, there will be a few race specific skils, but almost all knowledge is accessible to all races
That said, the schools of magic will be accessible to anyone
if it's race specific then i dont consider it part of the knowledge system.

if you have access to test then the link provided will direct you to the download. OTHERWISE it will bring you to the main website.so if you see the main site, then you dont have access.

forgot to mention that Beast planet can be completely ignoring PvP. meaning when there's an invasion of demons, you can stay 30 minutes away from the portals so you aren't killed or attacked. otherwise you'll have free roam on the planet and may only die to NPCs.

The way the gear will be set up, it'll be easy to replace it. you wont have to farm for 2000 wolves to make your leather armor.
arrows might be a different story though.

If bots would be the solution then MMOs would not have performance problems and they would not need player made stress tests, but they still have both. With bots, I can imagine how you can create some kind of testing environment to stress the server itself. What you can not get with bots is still the real situation where players are all over the world connected from different starting points with different devices and different connections. So games will still need the real user point of views. So it is really important to gather individual player experiences and precise feedbacks, which can not be replaced by using bots. So it does not matter how much resources one bot can take. In addition, I would not give exact resource capacity (x2 human client) to one bot. Bots can scale what it comes to their performances, resources and contents.
i never said to only use bots though.
CU bots use clients, they can use VPN to route network through the world if they wanted. but I haven't kept up with how the bots work network wise.

you'd get more players if the potential customers knew if the game is going to be max 5v5 fights or 200v200
I agree, but how do u test a 200 vs 200 fight in Alpha 1? I think we will be around 300 and we wont play at the same time...
Im sure Devs will take an eye on this as the comunity grows...camelot unchained is using bots which use more resources than a connected player.
