      quest dont engage end game players. usually quest just guide the player to a battle. Fractured will have raids and dungeons. BUT most of the content will be conflict with invasions and political.

      this isn't a treadmill game.

      but the game is designed with no quest. only exception will be Angel and Demon forms for the races.

      now I believe the starting area should offer some quest as tutorials but that's it. the game is a sandbox, tools for players creating their own quest would be amazing though, which we've discussed in other threads.

      odds are they'll leave because their stuff was stolen. there will be some that get bored of the game between content and might return. those that might return would be better suited to sell their stuff and horde the coins/gold or try to acquire some collectable gear that might sell well in the future.

      Hi skinzed, Conjuration can do that, but teleporting on Fractured is quite limited. Check out the end of this journal for more info on teleportation and travel in general!

      Starting point in Fractured is also different than in Albion, because in Albion you could trade gold for ingame currency (silver). I have understood that in Fractured you can not trade DM gold and it is always personal. Moreover, if Fractured offers only account wide VIP packages with calm benefits, cosmetics and stuff like that, this will not lure gold sellers as much in Albion, where Premium package progression benefits are huge (we could say mandatory) and every character needs own package.

      One good way to fight against gold sellers and their customers is monitor high currency transactions between players and investigate more closely those cases. Also creating very easy bot report system for players will help a lot to catch bots.

      I assure you there will be 3rd party sites to buy whatever you want. gold sellers will sell items and resources, unless we can farm cosmetics and they can be traded.

      This is also important think from returning player point of view. If he or she can continue from the situation where they once left, they will continue playing more certainly than if they need to start from the scratch.

      if they left then odds are they wont come back. the harsh reality of this game is it isn't for everyone. If you can't sell your items for gold to buy stuff when you come back then you didn't prepare well enough for an extended leave.

      @Jetah Yea it's a different game....in name like all other games. That doesn't mean you can't incorporate game mechanics that work. Being able to teleport around is vital to all sand boxes. Players do not like to waste time travelling from one location to another especially if it is to get to a secure location to log off. I know myself I play as much as I can right up to the point of logging. If I have to travel 10-15 minutes to get to a secure location that can be a problem especially when you are suffering from wife aggro lol.

      Fractured wont have that easy teleportation. one core game part is dressing for travel. there will be some portals, like the invasions from Tartaros and portals to Asteroids. I can't remember if there'll be portals to different cities after you've been there. If there is then I hope it's limited.

      I would think any house in the town limits changes hands. while any house outside the city limits would stay.

      doing that would incentivize sticking around to defend the city if you're inside the city limits.

      Gold sellers is my one greatest fear for Fractured. the Beast will be plagued while the Human planet will have some also, I doubt the Tartaros will have many because of the open PvP there, however, I've seen them report players for killing their bots.

      Randomized dungeons and instances like Diablo and Albion Online. Fixed dungeon place with the same map pattern and mobs can be very boring in the long therm.

      Asteroids will be the random content you're looking for.

      We still have to decide that. In theory, respawning is for co-owners only, otherwise you could friend several houses and respawn pretty much everywhere on the planet.

      Alternatively, we might make it so that you can only have one spawn point.

      WoW limits you to 1 respawn location which you have to visit to set. Why would Fractured allow unlimited locations?
