      there needs to be an incentive to leave the starting area. having low resources is definitely a way to do that.

      i'd say just enough personal resources so a person can make some equipment.

      the game isn't out. it's in alpha.

      i dont know. it would have to be a lot of fire though. might be easier to use earth magic to make a bridge (splitting the body of water into two) than to evaporate the water.

      generally speaking the best mounts, visually, are from the store. while the dropped mounts are just reskins of game creatures.

      but it would be neat knowing, or not, a legendary mount that only 1 person on the server can have.

      I'd love to see a "behind the scenes" type content. Written, live stream and vod would be great to have. Crowfall did this and it was very interesting see how the land could be changed between negative and positive z-axis while keeping the mesh looking great.

      There's many aspects of game development that are often overlooked like sound FX, Particle FX, GUI, asset creation, etc, that people would want to see.

      there's a few videos with gameplay, on YouTube, and 8 pages of News.

      biggest difference will be the 3 planets offering 3 styles of gameplay. Beastkin planet is PvE only (green zones), while Human will be PvX (yellow to red) and Tartaros, the Demon planet, will be full Black Zone. The Human planet will be invaded often (how often hasn't been mention or I've missed it) and it can be as lawless or lawful as you want.

      Each character has a Karma bar that changes based on what you do. And the races aren't locked to the planet they start on. A Demon can become a treehugger while a Beastkin can become a full raged PvPer. Humans start Neutral so they can stay there or go either direction.

      That's one problem about early access. People can see the UI early which will turn many off, even though it might not look like that at release.

      Prometheus has said that some planets wont have certain resources, at all. one example was Tartaros would be rich in stone while human and beast wont have any or very few. Tartaros might be low on iron where as human might be abundant.

      but any frost mage spells can freeze the water so players can walk on so while you're right it isn't always the case.

      I'd love to see professions offer a way to make bridges of different materials to traverse water, valleys, etc.
      rope bridges that could be upgraded to small wooden plank that are upgraded to full wooden bridges, as examples. Now if they could be destroyed!!! \o/

      I know it's easy to forget but the comments there are a little bummed about not having beta last year. Then I remembered not seeing an update recently. There are some people that wont visit the website to get their information unless you explicitly state "we're no longer posting updates to kickstarter. Come join us at Fracturedmmo.com for constant updates and free rewards via the Foundation". Camelot Unchained is still posting KS Updates and it's been 4+ years for them.

      there are starting zones. Tartaros has Nest where the demons first spawn at. I suspect these will be small and will give just enough room to get you past the tutorial.

      i couldnt answer that. i'd say a month but we dont know how difficult the ranks will be nor if the skill acquisition will be random or static. it'd be neat that every character created would have their own locations for skill knowledge.

      i've never seen a released game where you can't rebind your keys. even consoles have different layouts.

      we're not sure which part, if any, of the UI we'll have control over.
