RE: Int, is the most important crafting stat!
what if stats are gained or lost based on what you do instead of stat allotment at the beginning of the game.
if you blacksmith then you'll naturally gain strength. if you sew (tailor) then you'll naturally gain dexterity.
if you swing a 2h sword then strength will naturally increase. cast spells then you'll naturally increase your intelligence.this also prevents instant 'best builds' for starting characters.

RE: Summoner
the character isn't restricted to classes but there are groups of spells or knowledge which are classes at their core.

RE: Real Crafting
video games have best stats. you dont lose a music match and have your stuff taken.
that'll suck because gear is suppose to be easily replaceable. if it takes 12 hours to make hide and it takes 15 minutes to lose a whole set then people wont play. the long hours for crafting isn't easily replaceable.

RE: Pass for friends - the idea for the release
do you think a streamer with 20k+ audience is going to review every one of them?
-
RE: Real Crafting
and someone will post how to get said 'best stats' and others will just copy it. thus making crafting take no skill.

RE: Unique mounts
i'm sorry but your link doesn't specify 'food' for a recipe. they say "a plan or procedure to obtain a given end result". again nothing about food.
a blueprint for food, consist of 1 or more items, when combined, produce a specific result. no different than building anything else.
you're a detailed person and you see each blade of grass despite being inside a forest but you'll still argue it's a lawn.
their foundation is the same and the result is the same.

RE: Unique mounts
a plan or procedure to obtain a given end result
could be a recipe or blueprint.
you follow a blueprint to build a house, you've just followed a procedure or plan to get it.
you follow a recipe to make taco sauce, you've followed a procedure or plan to get it.that website was trying to make blueprints seem smart but really they're just similar.

1: For now there's only 1 size for personal plots. This might change in the future.
2: I assume this will depend on the item you're trying to place. None of the items I have access to can be stacked, but those items wouldn't make sense as stacked items anyway.
3: The items I currently have access to can only be rotated 90 degrees. I don't know if some of the planned items can be rotated less than 90 degrees.
4: I can't give chests a name on the test. I wouldn't be surprised if it's planned though.
5: I don't know what the exact plans for this test are but ultimately the plan is to have the buildings/furniture decay.
Most of those questions will probably be answered during the upcoming test.
i never really understood the rate at which games make items decay. it's like a bed frame will rot in a week when actually you could have the same frame for 50+ years. at best you have dust it, at worst you were jumping on the bed and something broke.

you realize that recipes are blueprints for chefs?

We need a test soon. When I log in and pretty much all I see are hello posts means info to talk about is drying up lol.
that means you didn't mute those forums.

RE: Real Crafting
if everyone is following the same rules is it truly art? art is about being free. Sandbox games are about being free too.
i know the whole video game system is built around rules but RNG helps the 'roll a die' type thing. sometimes you have a seasoned mechanic make a mistake, sometimes its a really bad mistake. I'm not talking ArcheAge RNG where you'll break an item at tier 10 thus losing it. but items that are crafted could have a small range, lets say for Fractured, just 10 points. It could use the tenths decimal as well to get 20 options. It makes the higher numbers worth more but doesn't mean you'll never get a high roll.

RE: Real Crafting
but it's a fantasy game which shouldn't have hard rules like that. use your imagination a little and explore! rules just limit imagination! (actually thought this was another topic but i'll leave it).
crafting can have unexpected results until you get a system down. most products aren't here from one prototype, they've taken hundreds or thousands iterations. sometimes you change 1 thing to see how it comes out. sometimes you change multiple things.

RE: Are we able to collect water from Rivers,Lakes, etc
had those in Archeage and they were great!

RE: Unique mounts
blueprint could be a static set of breeding paths. even necromancy could use blueprints to put parts of items together to build it.
summoned creatures could have a mana/resource reserve, similar to Path of Exile. You'd be limited to how many you could summon based on how much the reserve is.
on a side note:
I loved getting the materials to summon my Warlocks Dreadsteed mount in WoW!
needing to get materials for parts to assemble, then needing to enchant those items then going to a dungeon to summon the mount then needing to kill it to 'tame' it. -
RE: Real Crafting
but i also hate static too. knowing the outcome for everything isn't great of a system either.

RE: Fractured and Albion
over 16 post asking about albion online and fractured.
the search bar is quite effective, btw.
