to me spys, pvp, sieges, are all apart of the game. you keep your information safe, share that info with certain trusted people or change it a little to find the spy.

think about new spawns being random. a scout with some minor skills in gathering could find where the new location would be. if that information got out or multiple groups scouted the same resource then there'd be fighting around it. those that won could claim it or it's a harvest the resource while people are defending you! it'd be both amazing and stressful!

competition is saying someone is better than another. sieges are a competition. open world pvp is a competition. ganking is a competition.
Eve Online has no problem with spys, Fractured shouldn't also. Who's to say people aren't using skype, discord, etc to relay info anyways. Espionage is apart of war and full loot pvp is war. War has tactics, spies are tactics. I'd venture a guess that the people left because they weren't 'top guild' any more. Actually a sandbox game doesn't want top guilds or alliances and things should be done to break them apart without the developers stepping in to break it.
if you ban someone they'll just buy another account or move on. Bans don't solve everything in a game.

in a game like WoW or Diablo 3, i dont mind all my characters on the account being in the same guild but in a sandbox full loot with spies and espionage as a profession, I don't like it.

People here is missing the fact that it's not a competitive game but an MMORPG. If they will implement pvp events like arena/capture the flag/controll points and so on you will see a ranking system. Otherwise is useless.

the game is a full loot pvp sandbox. that's pretty competitive, more so than a moba or instanced pvp.
I'd prefer to have a number of each race and sex i've killed or that i've died to. most games just say you've died 8 times but i'd like to see 2 deaths from blood demon, 4 deaths from shadow demons, 1 death from nheedra and 1 death from chadra.
can't. I can vpn to bypass IP checks, I can use a virtual machine to bypass hardware ID, i can use any of the free email services for an account.

- They need to put an accound user list not an hero list so you can check is up on alts.
- A mac address checking system that will count how many active accouts are up for that address and showing the counter to the accout profile. So guilds can avoid players with multiple accounts or with chars splitted outside the guild.
mac address can be spoofed, as i mentioned in the goldspam thread. i don't like people knowing if i have multiple accounts, maybe i want a beast account that's chill and insta logs when an invasion happens. maybe I want a character in one guild and another character in another. although i do enjoy having all my characters automatically in a guild but this is a sandbox and i enjoy the option of a spy even if it takes a second account.
one thing that hurts is the foundation points on the forums.
second is we don't have much of a game to discuss that hasn't been talked about on the forums. Once we start to get videos and the kickstarter goes up we might have more to chat about.
