      I hope to see a planet totally lawless also the cities. There's no point to not attack people in a city on a lawless planet. I like the idea to have 3 different styles on each planet there would be no point to make some restrinction on Tartaros.

      point was the maps were huge because they where spheres then you could send ships to other spheres.

      I'm not understanding how fog would hurt a beaskin on arboreus when they'd get the benefits and attackers would get a penalty to line of sight. it would make invading harder.

      @finland i played an rts that had a whole planet as the map.. and you could jump to moons then use those to crash into a planet.

      @Target yeah I'm wondering how it'll play out with it. I'd love to have a test server with it!

      i didn't mention a spectate mode. i asked if we knew if the camera was locked to the character or if we could pan the camera across the world like you can in a MOBA/RTS?

      then you're killed again and looted. just because someone has a high price doesn't mean a pvp'er will pay it. i don't really see the beastkin trading with the demons. I do see them trading with humans and the humans trading with both factions.

      i also posted about a rotating camera. i'm not sure how the camera is setup at the moment.

      sure it won't matter but it could be used strategically for both defense and offense. I'd say that most of the benefit is for the defenders.

      you can't sell items there were taken when you're dead.

      if the game is setup how i imagine it, then gatherers will need defense. crafters may or may not need defense and both will need everyone dying so the circle is complete.

      with towers that increase the los for locals, it's easier, not harder. the tower wouldn't help invaders, actually it could be setup to thicken the fog for invaders so they would need more +light to see further.

      so you're saying if some towers were built that moved the fow for the locals that it would be easy to be ganked, even if you could see clearly 2-3 screens away but the your attacker couldn't see beyond half their screen.

      it's a discussion so i'm wanting to understand your point better.

      fog can be used to hide also. while gathering, skinning, farming. if the los was based on a light power stat then those previous mentioned professions could have much higher light so see further. maybe certain towers or structures could be used to aid the home planet locals. A light tower or basic crows nest could be used to aid those in the area. giving an early warning to be ready to fight or flee.

      couldn't also hide gatherers? couldn't hit also hide those wanting to ambush the ambushers.

      limited line of sight works for everyone.

      if DS didn't render the full item then we'd have issues. usually you render 3/4 of an object in isometric with a rotating camera you have to render the full item.

      didn't think about posting the link on the main post, updated that.

      i believe the game is in pre-alpha right now with very limited outside of developer friends and family access so it's possible they're past the point where they could add it.
