Perhaps not just a crafter can rename weapons, what about enchanting it? Let's say your mage buddy has a high enough enchantment level to rename and enchant crafted items. Imagine seeing a flaming broadsword with the name you picked for it in your inventory.
Maybe it could also work like that of CS:GO, the sword's name will be the one you picked but if you look at its stats you'll see that its just a crafted iron longsword.

tax happens to remove currency/gold from the game. this helps to a minor extent inflation.

@jetah you have your and I have mine. I care just about meta. Somehow people will get there anyway also without a meter. Meter make it easy for everyone that's a big difference. Albion had no meter but top guilds had tables with builds to use and builds to not use. It's just tricky cause you have to duel and use combat logs to make tables by your own. Something possible that happen evevry where but not all players are doing. A meter up for everyone means that everyone can check what's the best if want play the best.
Cool lovely FX are just for rp tho none cares about that when fighting. People care to successfull kill thingy. For example I usually play games with maximum performance and less graphic as possible.
there's no reason to have a damage meter in an open world pvp game.

13-17 and 18-21 ranges were meant to differentiate teens from "early college years". I know this depends a lot on each culture, but by 22-25 most are finishing college and/or already paying his/her own bills. And by 25+ you could call a "full fledged adult", some already married, etc. Obviously this is not set to stone, it's actually roughly average. Enough with detais, my intention was not to discuss demography on a videogame forum XD

the people i'm talking about grab a calculator and spreadsheets to find the best build. it isn't a 'oh i use x because it was an early unlock'. it's more like 'i need to find y because it's best in slot damage'.
yeah you'd need at least 5 and that would only get you to 50 and I know there are people who are older than 50 playing.
try removing the space and label it as 13-17.
problem is the definition of p2w is so huge, nearly encompassing everything, that no one truly wins an argument.
It seems that the fractured shop will be skins for gear, weapons and mounts just by looking at the Foundation rewards. The Founder Chest aside, it seems pretty cosmetic only. I like this! Cosmetic only has worked very well for CCC's Path of Exile and I'm sure DS will add some account services later on.
pop this into a google doc then you wont have the character cap! or if we have a wiki we can use (wiki.fracturedmmo.com) then we could bypass the character cap also.
problem with that is people will calculate the best damage for pvp (probably burst) and pve (probably sustain) and most players will get the builds for both.
I'd love to have multiple build be great but outside of support I see people playing the best 'tank' and 'damage' abilities.
