so, yes, you did say show dots on the minimap. this is why i don't want a minimap at all. it's an open world pvp game. UO didn't have a minimap, when I played it, and it was awesome!

RE: What unusual weapon types would you like to see?
As I read the comments I just wondered "why can't we use anything as a weapon?" if you're out hunting and your weapon breaks, grab a branch. a group wants to raid your villa, grab a cattle prod. you're in the field planting potatoes an someone wants to sneak you, use the Sai as a weapon or the hoe if you were tilling the soil.

RE: Streaming Pre Alpha?
pre-alpha can't be streamed. no twitch, no restream, no youtube, no streaming of any kind. you can record it to your harddrive and upload it AFTER pre-alpha is over.
any type of streaming in PRE-ALPHA means your account will be banned (generally speaking it's against the ToS).
@Kralith problem is people will see the current state of the game and wholly judge it based on that. just look at the post here that are already giving "feedback" from what they seen.

@chrightt i agree. but if one or more countries make those boxes illegal then it's possible for the whole system to change. often times it's cheaper to have 1 build than multiple.

@finland no i haven't played a pvp game where everyone can see dots on a map that shows all positions even stealth. you want counters to invisibility but there isn't a need for them.

@finland you don't really need a keyboard or mouse if it's a mobile game. the UI is designed so you can tap instead or designed to have a d-pad so movement is done via directional taps.

@gothix for me a style similar to overwatch is fine. as it's only cosmetic and you constantly obtain them by playing. I hate the ones with a stat increase like in Tera.
I'd prefer to see an item to buy than to gamble.

@jetah lol that's stupid and what about syndesia and tartaros. Invisibility abilities must be countered like every other ability. It's to balance the game. You can not hope to balance restrinctions with abilities it's shit talking. Restrinction are made to descurage yplayers to do something.
balance is your stats are buffed and my stats are nerfed. that's plenty enough. this is the reason i'll hate to see a minimap. it gimps the player.

it's possible the skill wont change. just the device and controls. if it's mobile there's a possibility to drop the connection.

@rotul the game has action combat. it could be similar to bows but instead of killing a bear it's a fish. actually there are bow fishing too!
@Finland depends on how big the farms can be. i'm not saying make it efficient enough to never need fishing.

@kanaii my point being i haven't seen a game use spears to fish, it's always been fishing poles where you just click on a cork.

i played a game where you built each wall. a small wall might need 300 clay type resource and wood. the 300 bricks might require 5000 sandstone. there is a weight so a new crafter might only carry 50 per trip and walk very slow whereas a seasoned crafter might carry 100. there are tiers of 'wheel barrels' that can allow a novice to carry 100 and a seasoned to carry 300 (as examples i can't remember the exact numbers). This allowed crafters to be full time jobs where an adventurer wants a house built, they'd place the walls and whatnot then put a price per item needed to create that part. one wall needs 300 bricks, they might pay 50g per brick, while paying 5g per wood.
the only automation it has was turning raw into intermediate or final items. but considered it took a while to gather it that was the offset.
