how do you nerf frost to bring it in line with other schools? The idea to freeze enemies will be huge, like Mei in Overwatch.

search bar is there! It's been answered a few times.

if we have weight, we can have caravans or pack mules. if we have sieges then we can have siege animals (think elephants, rhinos, etc). If we have siege animals we could have mounted combat!

with an open loot game we could steal the mounts or kill them!

@nelchael gameplay mechanics could be to start as close to neutral as possible. i'm not sure if anything else can be done.

i mean diablo isn't a sandbox. i don't see moba either because it isn't an instanced battle arena. I don't know enough about runescape to comment on that one.

DAoC has housing instances where each house could employ 1 NPC vendor. the items were posted on a Broker at the entrance of the zone. You had to hop zones to search for goods.

I'd prefer a master Broker where you could search and buy but had to visit the house to pickup!

it's relative to income though. some people take a month to get 60, some a few hours.

i hate the asian style player shops. i hate the lag they produce, the constant spam and the eyesore they produce. I'd prefer to list my goods at an NPC by my house, which could be searched from a broker (in a nearby town).

a developer should never encourage afk play in an open world pvp loot game. do you know the amount of support tickets CS would get if people could afk to acquire stuff yet come back to a corpse.

this is an active game, if you want something you should have to be active.

That is also not realistic.

You kill the bandit, you look at his pocket and you take all that he has. Why the hell would you take only half?

humans have steampunk tech -> metal detectors
demons just rip your whole body apart and check every part
beast men... will not even steal cause they are good, so np there as well

what if half of his money isn't in his pockets! What if half of his money is hidden by a spell or in his shoes or hat or hair or 'prison pocket'. Who's to say the armor doesn't have hiding places.

I'd love for Tartaros to have a Human/Beastkin hunt! along the lines of a player is kidnapped and brought to Tartaros. They are well fed and have access to some basic armor/weapons. After a certain time, they're released so Demons can hunt them!

@finland Afk activity could be fun for exemple when you are at school or working, but BDO had his entire crafting system set like that and it was to much in my opinion. If there is afk activity it should not be the focus of the game but just some little side stuff.

how is an AFK activity fun when you aren't there playing the game? that's no different than using a bot.

they don't have access to it. they do have access to stone, however. a society tends to learns what it has access to.
