as for the squat. i pledge for that tier, i get on a 3rd party site and attempt to sell that pledge for 2k. I get the funds, then we attempt to trade the pledge tier or i give the buyer the email/account for the KS account.

if you're selling the unpurchased tiers via your website then it won't be a problem but I'd suggest you only offer those 3 tiers on your website. this completely negates any squatting. it better representants the funds you've gained via pledges.

as for the knowledge point gain and additional learning slots, people will consider it p2w. are you paying for an advantage? if yes; p2w, if no notp2w.

So if offline characters didn't lvl up, and there was no gathering, you would be okay having an offline character wondering around the guild settlement? My main reason is still to make guild settlements look more alive.

i don't want people to bypass playing the game. that's my end of statement.

if you want guilds to look alive then recruit more players.

Foundation point shouldn't be given in KS rewards. You want an active community on these forums, best way to stop that is to allow someone to buy it. I will stop being active here if I'm able to purchase foundation points. The Summary Q&A says the rewards are exclusive, the points are apart of the Foundation system, keep it that way!

VIP membership includes bonuses such as additional Learning Slots, increased Knowledge Point gains, discounts on Store items and unique cosmetic rewards for accumulated VIP time. It's only time savers and cosmetic stuff - we're not selling power there!

I hate the VIP already. Paying for any learning slots, increased knowledge point gain is P2W (rough definition). I'd prefer no VIP and you design epic looking cosmetics and offer deals regularly like Path of Exile has. You can look at any of the P2W threads on Crowfall if you want to be labeled as that via youtube and reddit post. You'll see multiple post here asking if the game is p2w and someone saying VIP gives you more learning slots and more knowledge points gain it will be taken as p2w. Be like Path of Exile and less like Crowfall in your cash shop! and i'm saying this a ruby backer in Crowfall (I spent 1,000$ backing it). Here's a quick link to path of exiles store. This company has ran for 5+ years without VIP and have done a great job with their cosmetic only cash shop (they do offer account services).

@Prometheus Your single item €10,000 tiers will be squatted, you've just lost €30k in backing. I mentioned this in my Pre-Kickstarter post which you seem to be ignoring. Sell these via your website so people can't squat them. I've heard of people squatting KS tiers only to sell them for a higher price via 3rd party sites.

Planet tiers need to be well thought out because a Demon can become an Angel. What happens to their pack then? What happens if they retire that character and start a new character on a different planet?

@fibs each asteroid will have to be instanced, though it may support thousands. they aren't persistent for sure (which wouldn't make the player housing work but anyways). but with the human technology we could anchor a few asteroids to the planets for housing.

I'm pretty sure on the Live Q&A it was answered that the foundation goods were separate from kickstarter. that would imply foundation points can't be purchased. if foundation points can't be purchased then you can't buy pre-alpha.

If they can be purchased then i'll stop being active and just buy my pre-alpha access.

I really don't know how they will manage it. Istanced is the way to give something to everyone. Otherwise will be limited somehow.

nowhere in that quote does it say 'only a limited amount of housing plots exist so people will camp for them'.

as i said they can offer multiple locations for different prices.

I was only suggesting asteroids due to fear of limited space for housing in open world (and I love housing).

it could be an in game expense thing.

Medium:
personal and guild in the major cities

High Class:
personal and guild in astroids.
