@specter said in Payment Method:
@mehwar Kickstarter only accepts Creditcards. It will be possible to buy the tiers on the website after the Kickstarter is over, and I'm pretty certain there will be more payment options then.
will some of the Early Bird tiers at the same price point be listed on the Fractured website? I've seen it where they're added but fewer in number and I've seen them not available too.
any pre-paid credit card will work (I'm in the US, so you'll want to check with Kickstarter support in other countries). I just recently used a Target Visa Gift Card to pay for a project.

Or you have to depend on your eyes, if you picked a human race then you don't get any bonuses.

All of the listed beastkin can eat meat. While rare, deer do eat meat.

RE: How should shields work? WoW vs. Vermintide styleposted in Discussions & Feedback
Why would you move? Why couldn't the character just rotate in place? you're still thinking in first person or over the shoulder 3rd person point of view. Isometric view has limitations and has to be kept simple. So having a shield may add a new ability to the right mouse button for an active block. The character could move slowly toward a target firing upon them. If a 3rd person attacks the shield character then they can move the mouse so that the shield is positioned between them and the 3rd person.

only takes 1 key/mouse button to click to move. the others are open for shield abilities too! unless it's inherent so that middle click (or another button) grants the active block ability.

RE: How much character customisation is there going to beposted in Questions & Answers
i assume no simpy armor unless DS says otherwise.
the game is isometric view so seeing your character details may only happen in town and when you press the button to zoom in. there could be a way to see the character in a wardrobe UI/area and the character select. but who knows at this point. generally the less customization you have the better performance you get.

RE: A Question About Stealth & Crimeposted in Questions & Answers
I'd like to see more reasonable guards. guards that patrol areas and have a field of view/hearing. if you're outside of that field or low enough sound it isn't heard then you can steal and kill.

I did like the Savage in DAoC. they used Life as their mana to use abilities!

RE: VIP system : What do you think ?posted in Discussions & Feedback
@kellewic i'm looking at PoE's packs right now and it seems to be about 5$ less than the point purchase. a 30$ pack gives 25$ worth of points. 480$ pack gives equal value.
so yeah the packs are valued pretty well. This is something I'm trying to get DS to understand (they don't need VIP!).

RE: is there a rarity systemposted in Questions & Answers
@kellewic said in is there a rarity system:
I think weapons/armor + towns/player buildings/construction in general are the two long waited for spotlights.
I would think "rarity" would apply to what the gear is made from more than a color-coding found in other games. As an example, let's say copper/tin (bronze) is easier to come by than adamanatite/mithril/titanium. I would also guess the former is easier to craft than the latter so maybe a higher craftsmanship skill is needed for the more complex metals.
which is why i dont like quality colors in games. put an item level (though i hate that too) or a means to see the min-max rolls for the attributes and i'm good. currently d3 does this with gear, holding a key will show you the ranges of stats.

uh.. i hope not. i hope you meant "peace".
I do like this idea, although it'd have to be post-release!
only problem I'm going to have with new races is getting the knowledge i learned while on the other character(s).
