Why would an item be flown to me? I mean it could be of you paid for expedient shipping.

You’re just telling the merchant what to sell and what to buy. You aren’t sending items there unless a merchant or caravan brings it. Now the merchant or caravan could bring items from a remote location to you but theft happens.

I’m trying to prevent a means of having a second account with characters at remote locations where the user just logs in alts to trade. I’d much prefer to do that on my main.

Let me help you out with one thing. If all cosmetics are behind the cash shop then there isn’t a need to do any exploration nor dungeons not raids.

Destiny 2 has all of their cosmetics behind a paywall (yes you’d get some free boxes but bear with me) and people hated that there was no reason to do the raids more than once. There was not reason “grind” because all cosmetics were in a lootbox.

The last DLC, one before the very recent Expansion, changed it so there were cosmetics behind a play wall. There was a chance to get a mount in a raid, there were cosmetics behind achievements. There were reasons to “grind” again.

It could be possible that the Legendary item unlocks a cosmetic version if you do something and/or survive something. I’ll still stand behind my “only 1 to exist”. There’s the possibility that someone gets the item and quits. In that case the item should crumple and be placed back into the game. If you need a RP reason. That person was buried with their item and someone found it at a later time.

If there are skills that allow the player to do transactions over a long distance then it could happen. Does a General of an army go to the front lines to fight or do they direct underlings to do things? Is the CEO of Walmart on the cash register checking people out? No, they're behind a desk overseeing the whole operation.

It doesn't matter how the legendary is created. It's very existence would screw with the balance of a MMO that's meant to be skill/knowledge based and not gear based.

you're assuming the stats are x times better than crafted. what if the legendary is just a unique modeled item but has the same, maybe 1% better stats? who would think that something could be Legendary not because of it's stats but because of its Lore.

Every month or few months you have a new planet which where you can for example find unique things (maybe just cosmetic) for that time period. I think that would make a nice achievement system aswell.

why would something so legendary be crafted? the Mona Lisa is legendary but there isn't a recipe or art directions to paint it. It's legendary because of who created it first.

I do get your point though.

Will Fracture have a means for us to view our remote warehouses (bank)? Do I need a spreadsheet to play the inventory game?
Will there be some Profession Knowledge which might include a means to remote sell/auction items, similar to Eve?

Eve Online has an Assets UI that allows you to see every item in every station and allows you to search that inventory.

Can we have atheism as a choice pls? Different god religinon gives you different types of boosts and Atheism giving you boost to intellect or something like that. You know, not being a sheep.

I know that would interfere with current game design. I'm just tired of having to follow some god in every MMO out there. Screw gods and anyone else who thinks he is "above" someone else.

how about no boost at all. afterall you aren't following a god to be granted a buff..

technically it'll work on any platform if you remote desktop to your home system. only problem would be latency and controls. if a chromebook has mouse and keyboard then it should work. I'd test it with Path of Exile to see how it works out if this were my problem.

you shouldn't be worried about same account access. It's multiple accounts you should worry about.

for the most part beast will be shut off from the other 2 planets. so swapping between won't be a problem unless there's an invasion.

between the neutral and bad planets where eclipse's happen frequent might be a problem but a second account would be more helpful as you can read the convo and relay it to your alignment.

one thing that happened in Eve was a player paying to get revenge on another player. The player joined the corp (guild) and worked themselves up to being the right hand person to the target. then on one day at a certain time all the belongings to the target were removed from the guild hangers (think guild bank but the locations weren't connected). The implants (character boost) and ship were destroyed which summed up to at least 40 billion; the hit was 2 billion up front.

I would suggest some type of gift card and/or a gift system so that people can buy cosmetics for friends. I understand this could be exploited with stolen CC and chargebacks.

Don’t forget that 1 person can be killed.

My only problem would be that a person could sell the item on a third party site.

It’s advertising though. You make a tournament with 50k in prizes and people will check it out.

I don’t see the Demon planet being friendly for streaming because it can be used to snipe. The streamer would need a 5-15 minute delay.
