@tulukaruk
There was a whole thread about it. The search bar should pull it up.

Couldn’t a rule be coded to prevent multiple players from targeting the same exact spot.
The video is pretty fast but that doesn’t mean it has to be that fast for Fractured. A bridge could take a while to build so that you’ll want to move the minimum amount to get troops across.
@suruq
the client would just display what the servers calculations are. I don't see needing a 1080ti or 2080ti for that.
the person that created the app said it works great on their Surface Book and the gif is from their single GPU (I didn't see any mention on the exact model).
just one gpu. runs well on my surface book 1

@therippyone
it would be server calculated and they have multiple CPUs. the client just has to render it.
@warpuppy
um, we already have that. the videos show electricity in water making a nice AOE effect.

Im thinking the Marching Mtns. Close to a shrine, 2 mines and some woods. What about you?
that sounds like a great place to own. I hope you enjoy being ruled over by Demons!
I'd prefer a system where stats are dynamic instead of static. Meaning a species (sub-race) has a minimum attribute value then based on your skills being used will adjust the appropriate attribute.
Meaning a player that picks a high strength sub-race can still use magic because the Intel attribute will increase as they cast spells.
Vise versa also happens if a player picks a high Intel sub-race but uses more melee (either strength or dex based).
This prevents the issues of "my character is bad I need to reroll". It also allows skills to be adjusted and players to swap. A length of time for the stats to adjust could be a bell curve so that it's quick to a number then slows to grow beyond that. IE from 10 to 15 could be quick but 15 to 20 would be much slower.
This allows a player to pick a sub-race based on visuals instead of attribute stats.
@suruq
CCP abandoned the station invasion part which would have been more FPS or 3PS which would have meant seeing your character.
@jozef
I want to have cloaks so that you can't see what armor or weapons a player has. Unknown should be there for this type of game. You shouldn't see a person and instantly know they're 'more powerful' than you. Just walking down a street or being in a classroom you don't know who has a conceal and carry permit (I guess this is mostly US thing) or who's a great boxer, MMA or martial artist.
@gothix
and earth magic user (shaman?) could move the soil so that the warrior and others can pass over.
@gynz
could build a dam to overflow a river!
@r3n2
usually hammers and lots of hitting.
I still think we should test the difference. they could have a tournament with WASD and without to see which one people felt was the better skill shot version.
I still say they'll have to have a movement system for consoles and the Switch.
@gothix
no different than the RP people swapping to interfere with non RP. At least my suggestion keeps everyone on the same physical server. You know people demand separate servers in the beginning of a MMO launch but then demain mergers after 6 months.
The RP instance could have a popup with certain guidelines (similar to how other MMOs RP servers) so that the harassment isn't tolerated. it could have a temporary 'RP name' so that you wouldn't break the name convention of it!
Just saw this on Imgur and thought it'd be amazing to have in Fractured. Some type of magic (earth, wind, water maybe) or physical could change the shape of rivers or make ponds.
i'd be willing to see RP instances but keep 1 server. This away RP can still interact with everyone if they chose to swap from the RP instance or vise versa.
if you've played any type of isometric game, then you'll understand that it's difficult to see faces, eye color or even build. Look at Ultima Online and just see if you can see what a character selection options they used.
I really feel that putting a bunch of time into it will be wasted.

there's a reason why Path of Exile, Diablo (series) and other dungeon crawler games don't have character customization.
it's more like Path of Exile, LoL and Diablo (series) than Wow or Destiny.
