Well like I said it isn't the first time they have started work on another MMO.

All will draw a few players away. No one game is going to kill WoW, but eventually they won't be able to lure people back.

They would be foolish to not have some sort of plan in place for when that happens.

Buddy of ours was vaping.

Suddenly he started to turn an odd shade of blue around the lips as cyanosis set in, luckily he was in a room full of military medics.

Get him to the hospital and his lungs were full of vapor of some shit that they couldn't believe was in the juice.

Took him about 2 years to get strong enough to be able to walk again.

Not saying not to do it, just saying be careful where you get your stuff.

I see the Switch thing being announced as it would be a good judgement to hit that market. How are you sure that they have a MMO in development?

A while back they had a job postings for an unannounced Project where they needed Project Manager, that the proejct was going to be under the Diablo IP, and that the position required MMO experience.

There was a handful of other jobs for an unnanouced project with MMO experience.

Now, does that automatically mean a Diablo MMO? No, but signs seem to point to yes.

But does it mean they have an MMO in development? Yeah.

This wouldn't be the first MMO they've tried to develop. Remember Project Titan? They scraped it, but they were still working on it.

They would have to read all the yammering to know if the yammering is useful.

I've played lots of games where skill > numbers.

In Archeage it was routinely 50 vs 300 and we'd wipe the floor with the other guys because of lack of coordination.

Numbers don't always mean victory. Sometimes numbers get in the way.

Now if all 300 of the other guys were one guild, on comms, all coordinated, then yeah numbers will win.

I'd like them to bring the store up

Then I'd like to see them give a 90 day road-map.

Then I'd like them to go radio silent and just do the roadmap.

Ashes of Creation is pretty good looking. Not going to be like Fractured, more a traditional mmo not an isometric downward looking game.

The no-classes and pick your skills to build what you want is yet another major reason why this game appeals to me.

Been so long since we had that in a game

A demon with Necromancy.

Sounds like a party.

How can you go wrong with thsi combination.

I think a lot of this concern has to be tabled until we actually see how the skill system works overall.

$190,000,000 in funding raised and counting and they can't put the game out.

Other games come out with 15% of that funding and they do it in 3 years.

Truthfully this company has already alienated so many of its "customers" I think its going to be hot on release for 3 months and then be a flop by month 12.

Which will then be interesting to find out if all that money actually went into the game or if its in some account somewhere earning interest so when the game does flop people just walk off with it.
