if you put PvE in a PvP content that's just PvP not PvE
Again, no...
It's called PvX. Google it ^^
The fact that you yourself don't like to mix it is another story, it doesn't make PvP + PvE = PvP... it's still PvX.

@benseine @Gothix you could start as beasts get all knowledge than drop to abominations
This is also a possibility, but would have to know first what exact kind of perks abominations will have. Will it be worth it playing abomination, compared to demon or evil human.
Still I believe all knowledge should be reachable for everyone. Otherwise it just means showing affinity for one player group. Following the path of other MMOs that catered to PvE crowd.
@gothix c'mon Gothix, let them have those few knowledge points on Arboreus we can't reach. We evil demons will just camp the most looked for knowledge points on Tartaros and see if the beastman can lvl more of those +400 skills to lvl 3 then us
Or play as human, get 120 attribute points, get all good knowledge first, then drop to evil and get all evil knowledge. Get human tech, and play as evil humans and control lands on human planet.
This also sounds appealing, as playing demon does.
I think luck will mostly have to to with professions, you will be more lucky with crafting procs, transmog procs and stuff like that.
And since you need professions for all parts of your game, from crafting gear, consumables, etc, this means luck affects your whole game by just affecting your professions.
Luck might affect more, i don't know, but if it just affected professions, it would already be more than enough.

The devs are giving the PvE players a planet and all I see is PvP players whining about carebears.
Actually I see them whining about PvP players (thus this thread was made asking for PK punishment).
@benseine well I hope that will happen cause also pvers should get dungeons/boss.
This means those particular dungeons should not have knowledge inside, or it will be unreachable for players that want to play evil aligned demons. Which is against their philosophy as they said every player should be able to get every piece of knowledge (even solo).
And if they make few knowledge points that one MUST be high karma to reach, then they must make few knowledge pieces that one MUST be low karma to reach. I deliberately say high and low karma as high karma players can switch alignment how they wish, so they would easily switch to evil for a while, get knowledge with evil requirement and then switch back to good, without the need to drop their karma, while that would not be possible for low karma players (just getting good knowledge points like that) they would need to spend ages rising karma, get knowledge, then spend ages again dropping it to be able to play their style again.
@scottator It does. It will be like world bosses in other MMOs with PvP world. You will fight those bosses without competition most of the time, as not all players will be willing to PvP you. But occasionally you will encounter some PvP while trying to fight boss, as other players will want that boss too, and will have no problem PvPing for it.
@shadowkhan said in Question about gaming. How play in it?:
Answer on this question they MUST to know NOW.
They don't. They are just writing the code randomly, and parts of code they just pick from "code RNG loot boxes". When it's finished, this MMO will be completely random.
@benseine said in Are there any unknown / unused professions:
@gothix epidemics in MMO is bad idea
I make more account to spread disceases on other planets on purpose before invading
Edit: I spread epidemic everywhere before I go on holiday so I miss less action
Haha
I always remember that blood epidemic in WoW.
Maybe if they had epidemiologists it wouldn't be such a disaster! xD
Needing to pay is correct.
So players should pay to the guilds controlling an area all kinds of taxes if they want to do business there, or fish, or hunt, or gather, or anything.
Everything should be payed for.

I know this is a bit forward...
Not at all, @Finland would love to have dinner with you
Epidemiologist - if game adds diseases (can be both human, animal and plant diseases) - they could go do their job so the crops don't fail, and people and animals do not die, they could also purify waters if pollution comes. They can also serve as animal doctors, heal pets, mounts, etc.
Detective - when murder happens, some trails are left behind, then detectives are needed to investigate the scenes, and track down murderers using hints and evidence, the better skilled detective, the higher chance his search will end up successful
Mentalist - can get glimpses of where other people are located, how far away lands look, if there is incoming disease or natural disaster, etc etc. could work well with detectives but also for many other issues
Politician - can get positions in player run cities, the higher politician skill, the better bonus they can provide to the city, depending on what they will do (what actual position they will have)
Saboteur - able to infiltrate enemy territory / enemy cities and cause damage, cause city bonuses to drop, and various other stuff. In open world they can function as spies / trackers, they can set traps that can be used in open world group (and solo) PvP, they can also be invaluable in sieges, causing special damage to enemy walls or offensive machinery.
My real play style is to be true neutral.
But... then I join the forums and listen to sensitive players cry and cry for 2 years before game releases, and that eventually pushes me towards neutral evil. ^^

I want to play a redeemed fallen angel, so demon to angel, then fallen again, then redeemed again, well.. maybe fall and redeem myself once again after that.
What kind of skin do I get for that?
@Jetah iirc The Secret World worked that way. They had several servers around the world function as connection spots, but players played together.

or world protector
:
@gothix Stop talking plz.
Are you an evil person for telling me to stop talking in an open forum where everyone is free to discuss?
@Finland you completely ignore the reason why someone was attacking someone else. Maybe there was a good reason. Maybe that other person did something bad before that. There is million scenarios.
That crude way of looking on world, everything is black or white, is not very good. You need to open yourself up to consideration. Everything is not always so simple.
@Truchan as well
In same way if you are a world protector.. whose world protector are you?
Are you a cop protecting district owned by rich corporations, that make their fortune on abusing less fortunate that live in other parts of the world?
There simply is not "good" or "bad" that can be clearly defined.
