    • RE: Race interactions/limitations?

The game is not meant to be 'quest-driven' with the only real quests being the tutorial quests right now anyway.

As to racial limitations, yes, Demons can only live on Arborea, and maybe limitedly visit one of the other planets. Same with the Wildkin. That is part of the design philosophy of this game. The very environment works against you if your from a different planet.

If there is quest lines, those questlines will be racially locked and not open across races.

    • RE: Feature Spotlight - Three Races, Three Gameplays

Also note, I for one, and I'm sure there are many like me out there, hate it, absolutely can't stand it, when a Forum post redirects me back to an old forum post. Now, I may have put that old forum post on ignore, so if new comments come in and they post it there after going back to look, I won't see them in recent views, and even if I didn't put them on ignore, I now would have to look at both threads to try and track comments and that's exhausting and tedious. You want to remind me of what's gone before, and it involves a post from like 2 years ago, Reprint it, put your changes on it, flesh it out of you can, and don't point me 'back in time' to those older posts. I read them back then, I want to fresh version to see, not a roadmap of where to find old information, combined with some change notes.

    • RE: Store questione

@spoletta Actually, they already said that the next test would officially be the start of beta, so all that will be needed is an Adept package.

    • RE: Feature Spotlight - Three Races, Three Gameplays

@Logain Actually, as I see it, letting Gamingo's new media relations department guys update these old posts allows them to become more familiar with what's gone before and been promised, as they get ready to assume the job of updating us on what's new and different.

I don't expect their media relations department to be able to dive in and give us good relevant information without taking the prep time to familiarize themselves with what has gone before, and why not take these overview rewrites and publish them for the benefit of both old and new backers while we're waiting for them to get their feet wet.

    • RE: Email Validation process on website is down

@Shytok There is also no test phase running right now, so even if you could validate your email, you couldn't play. It will probably be in February when the Beta starts when next you can actually play the game, but at that time, servers are then going to be set to be up 24/7 except when a major update or something necessitates they go down. Alpha is basically over with and Alpha was short test phases of no more then a month to 5 weeks uptime per quarter

    • RE: gamigo Data Transfer

@Sweetdeal89 if you read through everything, they specifically state that refunds will not be made available if you decide not to do the data transfer.

Basically, you have your original window to ask for a refund from when you purchased, and that's it.

    • RE: Test a game?

Sometimes they do open testing for a few days to stress test the system. keep your eyes out, don't know if they will keep that up into Beta or not.

    • RE: Specs

@Roadie The game is still in Alpha development, so those are still yet to be totally determined, however, if you check out the Wiki link, I do believe there are basic specs recommended there.

    • RE: if i buy the cheapest adept package ?

@Barneyjones Current refers to what testing stage we're in, not whether or not there is currently a test running. If we were currently in the Beta phase, then Alpha would probably say Complete, and Beta would say Current. You still need to read further to see what if any guidelines are out there in regards to the individual testing phases.

If all you do is just read the shop entry and that's it, your not making an informed purchase. There is no reason every detail should be on the shopping pages. There is an entire website, and thus you should poke around and read the basics before just buying a package...but knowing that we're in Alpha stage, should assume that as a testing phase, access is not going to be continuous.

The next test is supposed to be the first 'continuous' 24/7 up test, but even then, when patches and specific new testing material comes out, the servers will be down, not to mention when there are server issues and major bugs that end up making the test not worth continuing as is. These are just the nature of the beast when you join a game in a testing phase as opposed to a launch, or even pre-launch.

I'm an old schooler for games, preferring EverQuest and Old School Runescape and my favorite Final Fantasy is X.

I'm also a chef and baker, so I'm totally there with you, and I'm all about lore and role-playing, having played D&D since my 7th birthday back in 1978.

    • RE: Refunds, negative reactions to Gamigo deal

Money already spent/earmarked can't be expected to be refunded, and a game developer has the right to go with any publisher they can contract with.

As for Gamigo paying the refunds, that's insane. A publisher isn't going n g to fund refunds from prior to their contract signing, especially outside of the refund window established.

Make a reasonable ask. This isn't one.

    • RE: When is the next alpha!!

@SunderCats the only thing available in the cash shop, which already exists, is founder packs and some cosmetics. As these won't go into effect until launch(except for testing access) your bet won't hold water.

Development have already stated there will not be a pay to win store, only cosmetics

    • RE: Replacing gold with ingame materials

@spoletta That's because it really comes down to how much you utilize your gold. You tended to try everything, and get the full experience, and the full gold balancing system left you wanting. That's a good thing. Keep you hungry for a little more, that's the ticket.

    • RE: Statement on the Gamigo-rumors

@Gibbx Although their communication is fairly good, we also know that Dynamight is not a company that jumps into the forums to squash every forum rumor that comes around. Also, Gamigo may have a rep for a certain subset of hardcore gamers, but by far not all gamers have even heard of them. Many I've talked to have not, including many of the eSports cyberatheletes I know in the local community.

    • RE: Replacing gold with ingame materials

@Kazzier there are plans for both more gold sinks, and adjusting of the current gold sinks and gold drops once the game launches. Remember, we are running under Alpha Testing right now, ,where everything is adjusted to facilitate a shorter game span and smaller audience.

    • RE: When is the next Alpha or Beta? Any roadmap or sth?

Oh, I understand, @DravenRayne and others have made the point that Xmas/Holiday season will free several testers up because of school/work breaks, however, in actuality, you and they are often the exception to the rule. During the Holiday season, yes, school and work might be on hold, but that's because everyone is running around doing offline family things, visiting relatives, vacationing, gift buying, decorating, pulling in extra holiday shifts to cover for that double overtime, and getting those last of the year things situated so they have far less testing time than almost any other time of the year.

I know, in my case, we just bought a house, so we're spending December moving from one place to another, and my sister who plays will be visiting relatives nearer to her for the holidays. (we grew up together, but aren't blood related, just brother and sister by association).

I know several streamers who have suspended their regular streaming schedule because of the hectic nature of this time period as well.

Anticipated testing would be right about Xmas week I think, but most of us are hoping January like Week 2 would be better.

    • RE: Any news for the new test?

@Oleh actually, although the assumption is everyone will have more time to play, in actuality, most people are busy doing so many different things at the end of the year that you end up with far less play time than any other time of the year during December, statistically
