@Astaldoz Remember, the game is in Beta right now. Things like toggling nameplates is a feature that is generally not added until launch. Nameplates are purposely left on during testing phases because of bugreports that may include screenshots so they can follow up with other accounts in the area.

RE: Refunds during CBT?
-
It is not for us to judge other people's use of Finances and their hobbies. Many people have a fixed budget, but within that budget they do try to do a few things, and that is healthy for many people's sanity.
-
Not everyone gains enjoyment from watching others. It is, in fact, part of the reason they are allowing us to stream testing, they want to tempt people to want to actually play.
-
You can in fact "return" a digital product, when part of that product involves access to a server, or some other lock/unlock mechanism that can prevent them from use of the product. In fact, digital products are protected in most countries and guarantee some kind of refund window for such purchases.

RE: Stag headdres
@ELPerro Rough animal armor, like the Headresses, are traditionally Medium-type armor. They restrict things like field of vision, they are heavier than a cloth hood, thus restricting movement and causing some head strain.
They are also not heavy armor because bone and raw-hide is just not as dense and durable as metal armor can be. They can be reinforced some, but the more you reinforce them, the more you lose the wild quality of the armor.
I just makes sense that all headdresses fall under the medium armor category. Now, as far as cosmetics go, you should be able to get some cosmetic skins to make your armor look better once the game goes live, as cosmetics are the only things that are going to be available for real-world gold according to the Devs.
The game doesn't need to make everything available at all levels, in this case, it makes sense that these are only for this niche.

RE: Refunds during CBT?
@hellzer There is no refunds on older packs, however, new packs I do believe still come with the 45 day refund policy if you just can't use the game/can't get in.
-
RE: Eternal Founders Pack
@Seoshi everything previously purchased is still there, they just aren't making those levels available for new purchase or upgrade
-
RE: Go the founders pak but i cant play in the closed beta ?
@Sagonator252 Did you migrate your account, and then access the game via the Glyph launcher, or did you just try to log in on the old Fractured Client?
From the Beta onward, the Glyph launcher is required to play the game, which means you do have to migrate over to Glyph successfully in order to have game access.
-
RE: Linux client
@blindreaper Even if they do support Linux eventually, you will probably have to wait until launch. I don't think Glyph works with Linux and Beta is 100% using the Glyph launcher
-
RE: Stag headdres
@Jacenson That's not a bug, all the Animal Head helmets are non-casting armor. A +1 to Int can be used for more than casting.
-
RE: Closed Beta has started!
@kehmesis I just logged out after playing for a trio of hours

RE: What time will the servers open on April 6, 2022?
@Ayejay76 They haven't said, but in general, probably at 4pm CET/10 am EST, and it will be roll of the dice.

RE: Council of Elysium - Chapter Two
@OlivePit Maybe one thing your not taking into consideration is that the Devs don't want crop yields to be totally predictable in the first place.
They know that in a testing phase, they are probably going to get more people more focused on building up the cities as fast as possible, because they aren't really going to worry about the long term effects of crop maintenance, but in the long game, fertility is going to go up and down by crop rotation, and they may even institute things like diseased crops or massive environmental damage to farming areas in the future. By not instituting the 3rd crop now, they are keeping that element of uncertainty, and then when they do introduce them, they will have worked out, internally, what other factors they may want to include with the introduction of veg.
One thing I think they do want to avoid in Fractured is making everything predictable throughout the game, and instead add some elements of chance and circumstance into the mix. Also, they coding for the 3rd resource may not have met with the devs approval by the time frame that they wanted to release the Beta, and they felt that it was not something worth delaying the Beta release for in the scheme of things.
Finally, they did not promise NO wipes during the Beta, they just have no planned wipes as of now, and that's character wipes. Nothing whatsoever was mentioned about city wipes, and yet, available city plots and their locations may very well change as the Beta evolves, so such wipes may indeed be in the cards, generally with appropriate warnings issued when possible before doing so. Even full character wipes may happen, depending on what bugs and feature-changes end up needing to be implemented. The point is, no wipe is planned at this time for testing, other than right before actual launch. Who's to say what else will happen in the meantime.

RE: purchase issue
@Claymore1019 You really only need to post this in one place, not multiple...and as @spoletta replied to you in the other thread, there are a few known issues right now they are working on involving the shop and the migration that the team is working on. In general, for something like this, I wouldn't even post your question in the forum, instead, I'd message one of the guys over on Discord, or use the private message feature here, so they can handle your specific case and refer you to a tech support person.

RE: More accessible plots
@DarthJafo They said in the past that the Cosmetic Blueprints available from buying packs would not even be implemented until the full launch. That being said, I anticipate some small previews of them when the launch window gets close.
-
RE: problem with FRACTURED ONLINE BLOG ARTICLE.
@DarthJafo I think they are just not working for some people, and are for others...Not sure what differentiates one group from another, but I think its only a very small percentage still getting points, but none of us are supposed to be getting them.
-
RE: problem with FRACTURED ONLINE BLOG ARTICLE.
Despite what others have said to the contrary, they said all foundation points were to be frozen for awhile, and no new points could be earned, but that your old points would be there when it started up again.
-
RE: Closed Beta Starts Soon!
@Logain I believe the plan is to allow at least 3 character slots on each account, plus some tiers of backers got bonus slots, and some might pay for more slots. With 3 slots, you can have 1 of each over-race as it stands.

RE: Glyph User Migration FAQ
@Ketamin nobody else suggested this, but as your code seems to be 1 digit short, try adding a leading zero, or a finishing zero to your code

RE: Problems with everyone being able to gather, craft, tame, etc...
@Tuoni Then again, as a Horizontal Development focused game, instead of Vertical, and with Fractured's determination to try to not just play 'Follow the leader' in regards to industry standards like that, it very well may be that they avoid the progression grind system and keep it more open.
-
RE: Feature Spotlight - New Continent
@Tuoni Actually, to the contrary, expensive travel costs will motivate the higher end players who've accumulated vast fortunes to go out and travel and thus show off their ability to diversify in gear and products for sale at their Marketplaces. It will become a status symbol, and only make traveling more appealing.
In addition to that, high travel costs will mean that less straight gankers will be at these other locations as it will be hard to maintain their travel expenses if they are just gankers. They will at minimum need to go out and gather some money more legitimately, or be very successful at Ganking on the main continent.
Like with anything, what discourages one player, encourages another, so it will remain to be seen. I really don't think they will get to the point that travel will cost so much that most 1 year or older players can't easily afford a semi-regular trip, even with supplies carried.

RE: Hi everyone
All foundation points are Frozen right now. It is nice to say Hi, but they said in the announcement for the Migration that no new points could be earned during the freeze.
