Actually, as I was reading, MOBA style came to my mind, and then it was mentioned in the article. The progression system resembles that genre a lot in a way you tune whatever set of attributes you choose at the start with talents and ablities as you go. Of course, it takes much longer, since your progress is not wiped.
All in all, I like the whole picture so far. Many builds to try, long-term goals to unlock maximum possible Talent points and at least lvl 1 of all the abilities to have the widest range of possible builds.
It's still a grind, though, just of a slightly different kind. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if the progression system stays this way. Pick your main build to roll around, which shouldn't take too long, it seems, and go ahead doing your things, be it unlocking all the rest abilities, or building your clan village, or whatever.

RE: Will there be dungeons? If so will the boss have a chance to drop Epic loot.
No reason to be a hater, sure many others wonder, too.
Dungeons are mentioned by the devs, they're likely to be in the game. However, not much is known at this point. They still have a kickstarter campaign ahead, so, such details as loot tables in dungeons are a bit too soon to discuss, really.
Hope it helps a bit. -

I did think it was odd that a deer might ride a wolf into combat with a fox pet, but thats the flavor in this game I guess.
It's only strange cause you're thinking that humans aren't animals. If ape can ride beast and wear beast pelt why a deer would have a problem with that?
Good point. Some tribes actually wear human remains as accessories, so I heard

Reminds me the final battle in Open Season

RE: Beastmen and Mount System
Since the Beastmen are all that nature loving race of hippies, they may have companions to ride, see no issue here.

RE: Using different colors for foundation titles?
Adding a pool of colours to choose from and expanding it as you progress would be a nice, too. I'm always for the choice possibility

I see your point, but it's not really a reduction, slaves are still individuals, always have been.
That's for sure! What I meant by "downplaying" is that a slave NPC would be just a character who works for you - at most you would have to keep it alive. Other MMOs (such as BDO) have hired workers, but the concept is similar.
NPCs in Fractured instead have their own lives and businesses. You can't order them to do this and that. You can buy from their shops if they've setup one and it's open. If you're a regular customer and/or have a high reputation in the city they might offer you discounts at most. Just a couple examples, but you get the idea. Slaves wouldn't work in this picture.
@Logain sorry but that's not planned as of today!
I see, kinda like NPC's in good old Gothic, at least as I remember them.
All right, thanks for your replies  -

That's a very interesting question you have here, @Fyrsey. NPC "slavery" is not a planned feature as of today.
NPCs will play a big role in Fractured - guilds will be able to attract them to their villages / towns, where they can settle and start their own businesses. They'll have proper names, be more or less skilled in different activities and - to an extent - have different personalities.
Reducing all of this to "slavery" (Ã la Conan Exiles) would downplay the whole system a lot
I see your point, but it's not really a reduction, slaves are still individuals, always have been. And now it actually makes more sense to me thinking of how demons "attract" NPCs. It may be just a flavor, really, maybe slightly different mechanics.
Not that I demand something, only mean that there always are ways to implement stuff. Nothing is impossible is my credo
