Hey I'll join the PA as well, so I would be wearing that cape as well. And at the begining when the game was being barely advertised, it was a matter of "luck" whether you found out the game or not, and not everyone has the same luck. I was just speaking on behalf of some of those that are in that situation.

@gothix No. You can solve ping issues with better internet as well, also from your point of view devs should make the combat more boring just because some people may have ping issues? lol
And even if you add global cooldown, with ping you get delays, you'll get delay in the global cooldown as well, so people with ping issues will have the same disadvantage with or without global cooldown. The one thing people hate about FFXIV is the global cooldown, the combat sucks cus of that, and most tend to leave the game.
You have your opinion, I have mine, and certainly a lot of people may have others as well, but in my opinion, I hope we don´t have global cd here. ^^

Not true. Ping issues have to be solved by the people themselves. Also it's buttom mashing if you play that way, if you play by combos, better skills for certain situations, it's not buttom mashing is strategic gameplay. Having global cooldown just makes the combat boring, static, lifeless...

@lovechildbell I'm not putting down blizz. They just doing things on their own way. For me it was just a big let down, cus I was really waiting for this game announcement on blizcon, nothing more.. (Speaking for me here)

@lovechildbell There's nothing wrong. For many people they don´t even care. It's just for us, the PC players, it's a let down, a lot of us have been hoping and waiting for this Diablo MMO, and it turns out it's for mobile. That's why it's a let down for me xD

I just hope they are good. Honestly, soun in MMOs are something really important to me, some people don´t care, they even turn off the game sound and put on some music, but to me, the soun helps a lot with immersion, so I really want the sound effects to be awesome and make us feel a immersed in the game while playing

I don´t think it would be fair... PA testers will mostly be those who discovered the game a lot more first the the others, around like 90% or more of the Top 100 are the ones who joined for the longest time and have shown dedication to keep up with the game up till now. So those who just recently discovered the game, even if they have the same or more dedication that we have, they will never have a chance of wearing that cape even if they want to, unless they are really lucky in the WDs... That's just my perspective ^^ Of course I'd like to wear one of those capes

That was literally a total let down for me... anyway can´t do anything about that unfortunatelly...

In this game we make our own story and the players make the world story. By our actions the rulers of towns will be decided, the zones aestethic will be everchanging, the world it self will be "made" at our image

@kellewic I think it's not a matter of making sense or not. Even in 3rd person, if you when you're frozen your screen borders for example get like icy stuff on them, or when your burning they show a flaming effect... well truth be said, this is not a "must have" in games obviously, but it's something some people, like me, like to see in game just because of the effects and aesthetics it gives to the game. So when he created this topic I don´t think it was about making sense or being 1st or 3rd person ^^

Some people like that, some people don´t. From my PoV is something nice to have, still if they add that to the game they may want to add an option in whether you want them to show or not, since many people don´t like it xD
