As far as I know the weather will inluence the planets something like for us but hard to say how it will be cause it's just a concept. Basically should influence everything from agricolture to animal migrations and so. About city building we'll get more info with the next spotlight. For sure we'll be able to build a settlement. Everywhere? Nope, somewhere they said it not going to happen. Can we siege cities? Yes but only on Syndesia (1 planet of 3). Dunno about preset cities management (but I hope something different than AO). Anyway we are supposed to burn trees or frozen a river. Keep in mind that we havent the game yet so everything is just a concept.

@lohen as far as I know Kickstarter will provide Alpha, Beta and release access. The foundation will provide the pre-alpha limited access but not further.

@benseine I doubt that kickstart campaign will be linked to the foundation ^^ (The foundation is just something to get the prealpha key - you will not get the pre alpha key from kickstarter). Anyway it's a personal progress so if you get more than me GG to you. There are 31 players that are way higher than me

I know Fractured will follow a “buy to play” business model. But some games are "buy to play" yet have some kind of subscription (to grant access to a specific server for example).

I hope there will be not optional ViP pass (optional sub). I prefer the model B2P (Buy to Play) or P2P (Pay to Play). Usually offering a vip pass is P2W (Pay to Win) or P2B (Pay to Boost) somehow.
