      @therippyone
      since "Most bonuses given by an attribute grow exponentially with the score of the attribute" - Feature Spotlight #5, the difference would actually be higher.

      And... who says that there will be attribute stats on gear? Why would you put stats that define your character on your gear?
      Your characters strengths and weaknesses should be decided on character creation and not.. lemme equip this mage gear and easily get 20 int because of it, so I am actually a great mage!

      Now, I will argue that even a +1 to a single stat on 4 pieces of equipment (hat, clothes, weapon, shield - a bare minimum of equipment) gives an effective 8 to 16 creation points, depending on the stat level, a ~6.6-16% increase over a created character - I don't see how that makes any sense in respect to avoiding having a veteran wipe the floor with a new player - but that's just me.

      I donĀ“t understand what you are even talking about šŸ¤”

      But we don“t know if and with what gear we start, but since you should be able to join your friends from game start, I am guessing we will start with some minimum gear.

      And the comparison was made between a veteran, who can“t play und does not know what he is doing, versus a beginner that is mechanically gifted. So all they are saying is "if somebody is bad, and you can outplay them, you are not going to lose just because of the gear difference. You can actually win."

      I mean the easiest comparison would be a veteran playing a meele playstyle without any gap closers, and a newbie playing ranged. Does not need too much skill to be able to win that. Does not matter if he has 20% mehr atk, health, def, whatever when he can“t play the game.

      That I'm not sure governor is race restricted ?, if you are a Syndesia's town human governor and you are elected on a Arboreus's town since you could be an Arboreus citizen ? what happen ?

      A character can only own one house. So one character can“t be governor of two towns. If you already are governor in a Syndesia town (or you just live there) then you already have a house there which is yours. To be able to be elected as a governor for a town on Arboreus, you would need to build a house there (if you build a house while owning one, you will lose ownership of the previous house after a day, so you have some time to remove your resources).

      The maxium you can do, is create three characters, and have each of them govern a town on each of the planets. That“s the maximum you can do.

      I'm not sure why you think that a particular gear can only have 1 particular stat array

      Because Japoco said that in a Q&A video.
      You have a recipe and you have materials for a recipe (wood, stone, metal, whatever). So if you e.g. have a longsword recipe, you can craft the item with wood, which will result in a Wooden Longsword, which has specific stats. No matter how often you craft it, it will have the same stats. When you craft the item with stone, you will get a Stone Longsword, which has it“s own stats (will differ from the one crafted with wood). But if you craft 1k stone swords, all of them will have the same stats / attributes.

      @therippyone said in Intemization system:

      The smithing idea was more or less a guess, as noted, based on needing something for a lv 3 crafting skill to effect, which also matches the low rng ideal by limiting rng through mastery.

      There is no level system in the crafting system. Either you know a recipe or you don“t.

      Explained here:

      The thing with no levels, is somewhere before that.

      @therippyone said in Intemization system:

      It has also been suppositioned that making armor at higher skill levels gives the maker better control over what benefits and drawbacks a particular piece of equipment gives - like, a gi may carry a potential benefit to 5 or 6 different things (only 1 of which will manifest), but a Master tailor can limit it to 2 possible outcomes - each outcome has 5 potential negative balancers, but a Master tailor can eliminate 3 of them. So instead of wasting time making 40 or 50 gi on average to get the right combination of effects and drawbacks, a Master needs only make 3.

      @lightspoon said in Intemization system:

      Crafting an high level gear could be very time-consuming if we consider all the different aspects involved in the process: farming the right (possible rare) materials, bring them to a master crafter and hope that he will forge the piece with the stats we're interested in (that may require many attempts), then enchant it with gems (that I think we'll have to find somewhere also).

      But... there is no rng in the game, so it canĀ“t work like this šŸ‘€
      When you craft a item you get certain stats, those won“t change even when you craft it 1k times.

      There is no "high level" gear, there is no such thing as quality, tear or whatever in the craft system. You have a recipe, you have materials -> you can craft it. Nothing more to it.

      they have more characteristic point so they could have better maximized stats

      I would not say that, since Beastmen and Demons can get higher values at specific stats, they will be more specialized in certain areas than Humans can ever hope to be, giving them significant advantages in those areas.

      In terms of combat, a coordinated group of specialists should not lose to a coordinated group of allrounders šŸ˜„

      @gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology:

      Demon must wait an eclipse to go on syndesia,

      That“s not true, you can go anytime you are prepared and have a portal. Eclipse only makes it easier and gives some benefits.

      @gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology:

      at start human are neutral

      From the Alignment Spotlight:
      "Humans are born with slightly positive Karma, and can choose any alignment."
      So you can start as Good Aligned Human and instantly go to Arboreus if that is what you want to do.
      You can also start with Evil Alignment...

      @gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology:

      Human would be citizen of an evil town (on Syndesia or Tartaros) ?

      Well.. yeah? why not? If you wanna be a Evil Human and live in Syndesia, do it; if you want to be a Evil Human and live on Tartaros, go ahead.

      @gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology:

      Human could have two citizenship (one by planet) ?

      cititzenship is basically the right to live in a country; every race has the right to live on another planet. Will only work better for some than others.

      @gofrit said in Unlocking human (rather Syndesia) technology:

      Evil Human would have the possibilities to build town on Tartaros from scratch (like a colony ?)

      I am pretty sure you can only be governor of one town šŸ¤”
      Also I don“t see a reason for a Human to make a town in Tartaros, unless you want to live there.

      Also if you have a Demon character, you most likely will already have a house / be governor on Tartaros (since you can only build one house per planet per account)

      Are you saying a Beastman, without going through to be an Abomination can live on Tartaros as long as they're sufficiently evil?

      Clearly states ANY Beastman has trouble staying on Tartaros, so the Karma / Alignment does not matter.

      10000 - 5000 is holy
      4999 - -4999 is neutral
      -5000 - -10000 is evil
      so long as you're -5k you're able to live on Tartaros. Now you may need -10k to get the demonic race unlocked.

      Well that is clarifying! If I understood corectly that means that the quality of the gear is of small variety and doesn“t really influence the competitive perfomance of PvP that much, and good competitive gear is easy to come by. Is that correct?

      There is no "quality" in the gear system. Every gear has the same quality.

      When you have a recipe to creaft a longsowrd, you can craft this with wood, which will result in a wooden longsword with specific stats. You can also craft it with stone, which will result in a stone longsword, also with speific stats (no rng). Different materials will give different stats / bonis, which can then be better / worse for a specific gameplay.

      There is also two ways to enhance (enchanting and something else I can“t think of right now) your gear, which will add bonus effects to the gear.

      In terms of rare materials, you could either show off with it, or you use it to craft gear, which then has specific stats / effects, which "nobody" else has šŸ˜‰

      What is unclear to me and my question is:
      Does your gear like Armor, sword, helmet. etc drops in full too everytime you get killed or is "everything" related to everything in your inventory?

      When you get knocked out you lose / drop everything in your inventory. When you get killed you lose / drop every piece of equipement you are wearing. Was answered by Prometheus in an Q&A. Hopefully I got this right šŸ™‚

      Since Fractured has horizontal progressing, loosing your gear is not that big of deal. You only need to start your journey from anew 😁

    • RE: Good Guild Vs Good Guild PvP?

      @kniknack said in Good Guild Vs Good Guild PvP?:

      Karma is meant to be a reflection of action

      Karma is a reflection of your playstyle, not of a few actions. If there is one good aligned player / guild that“s being a dick, you have the possbility to do something against them (which is great!) even with a Karma, which value is in the positive amount of points. While the amount of your Karma points is positive you can always choose a Neutral / Evil alignment.

      Of course you will have some penalties for such behaviour like if you knock someone out or kill someone, you will get flagged as "dunno" and murderer, which will allow Good Aligned Players to freely attack you. You will also lose Karma points for doing stuff like that.

      So.. if you are hostile enough to other players, so that your Karma points go into the negative, you won“t be able to select a Good Alignment anymore. But that“s a playstyle you choose. That“s not because you killed one or two people sometime, who deserved it for being a dick.

      What is the point of the Karma system (obviously including the alignment selection)? To allow players to choose their playstyle, is what I would say šŸ™‚
