      It depends on what you want ur character to bed good at. If you are interested in spell casting (of magic schools) set int to ten, if you want ur character to be good at spell casting (of magic schools) set it higher.

      If you don´t care at all about them magic schools, just put it down to six.

      The slower learning then won´t really matter because you will have a lot less skills to learn which matter to you (because while there are a lot of magic schools there is only ~1 for every "physical class" (ranger, rogue, tank, bersi....). You will then gladly take a bit more dmg / crit / evasion / defense instead of that increased learning speed

      E.g. if you want to go into the hand combat school the main stats are dex and str; now if you want ur character to actually be a bit versatile you then have two choices

      • go with int and add some spells to ur only good at hand combat character
      • go with some other stat which will enable you to have bonis in other schools as well; e.g. take perception for the assassionation and marksman schools (dex and perception)

      Compared to int perception will then increase ur crit, which will help you with ur hand combat style, as well as some other benefits.

      It all depends on what you want your character to be good at 😉

      You can´t upgrade your equipment, but there are two ways to enhance it. I think it was enchanting with a scroll and sockeling a gem or something? All three (the part of the equipment, the scroll, the gem) of those need to be crafted.

      As for crafting, you will have a recipe (which may have a Attribute Point requirement, something like you need 10 int to craft a staff or something like that). There also are not tiers / quality on crafted gear. Everything is the same quality. You have a recipe and you can craft it with different materials.

      So, let´s take a Longsword Recipe as example. You can craft this Longsword with wood, which will result in an wooden longsword. The wooden longsword has some specific stats, which will always be the same when you craft a Longsword with wood. If you craft the Longsword with stone, you will get a stone longsword, with a different specific set of stats (different from the one craftet with wood) , which will not change no matter how often you craft it with stone.

      And since you mentioned lvl in your questions... there will be no lv system in Fractured. Not for your character and not for crafting and stuff. I guess the only thing you could see as "levels" is the three "levels" a skill can have.

      Well it happened for a few games that they put an unfinished game as a early access game on Steam and also tried to make it clear to the players that... the game is not finished. That it is currently is in a Alpha or Beta state, however a lot of people seem to ignore that and just flame the hell out of games because they are unfinished, have bugs etc.

      That´s why I think Japoco said that he only might think about putting it on Steam when it is a "finished" game.

      I don´t know many examples where that happened, I know only about 2....

      • I don´t really want to defend it but Bless Online was such a case 😂 They stated before they brought the game to steam that they put it as an early Access Game because they want players to test the new / old systems and give feedback to the devs. And that they because of that will put the game on with missing features. And then everyone just flamed the game to the ground 👀

      • I think it happened a bit for Lords of Mayhem, where the game is in an Early Acces state (game state somewhere around Alpha) and everyone has access to it. Then they postet on their Homepage that they want to do a "Technical Alpha" (or maybe it was beta) and explained exactly what content will be featured there, and then apperently got flamed because there was less content the before.

      So... Steam players don´t care, they want a good game. It does not matter if it is an early access game, if the devs explain what the content is featured and what is missing... they are gonna flame the hell out of the game if they don´t like it. 👀

      Since you also want this to be non Fractured related...

      I am a quiet and chill guy. Apart from work I only sit at home in front of my PC (and even sit in front of a PC at work 😮 ) 😛 Nothing more to say about my real life really, it´s a quiet life 😛 🤔

      And yeah, as many already said, not really much for us to talk about right now. Another reason for me is that I just recently found a nice game ( Frostpunk ), which hooked me in a bit. Addionally to that the kinda only thing happening in the past days was people replying to other people saying HI, where of course nothing is wrong with that, but it kinda annoyed me a bit 👀 So in the past few days I only made my daily post 😁

      Well I think to prevent a specific team of players with a specific build to be the best build, I think they need to have different environments for fight spots. Like for every siege, that the environment is somewhat different, that some "not meta" strategy will actually work, just because of the change in terrain.

      As for the items, I think either making the different materials result in weapons which are only good in specific situations (so you would need a different one for each) or having not just a recipe for a spear but a lot of different recipes for a spear, which will result in spears which are good in different situations. I think we will get to see some of both.

      I think this is what they are going for. To get strong in Fractured you need to be able to know as much as possible so you are able to choose the "best" set of equipment and skills for the different situations you will find yourself in. With this knowing your enemy will also be very important.

      I would like to see:
      people...

      • Edit their old post instead of spamming multiple comments

      • Make a list instead of a lot of comments

      • Read the news and infos we have before talkin about features they would like to see

      • Not saying "I want this and that like in game this and that" because most players will not know that game, so explainig the feature in detail would be a lot better and enable people to talk about it

      • Referencing what information we have, like... "I have seen that Fractured has a Night and Day cycle, but it would be also cool if we could get weather cycles which would..." so we can understand better what feature you think is missing

      If you want to do this ( -> "Can we start to make a list of Pros & Cons about things we hear or see / want to see in/about Fractured to help the devs make choices for the game based around what the community wants & doesnt want in the game." ), then the community needs to be able to talk about that Pro / Con. Now if you spam a lot of Pros / Cons into a single thread and people start talking about different aspects, it is going to get real messy real fast.

      What you could do, is open up a new topic for every Pro / Con / feature / aspect of the game you want to talk about, like other people have done so far, and reference them in here, as an overview / collection (but please in one comment 😂 ).

      We don´t really know yet, but I think we can assume that if Angels can´t "forever" stay on Arboreus they will at least be able to stay longer than a Human with Good Alignment (which is according to current info 20 / 40 real time hours).

      We know that towns will have NPC´s which can be hired, if available, to do certain things... e.g. as guards, as a blacksmith etc.

      As for guard towers... well we don´t really know what "town buildings" are currently planned, but I guess you can expect something like this to actually show up. I think especially on Syndesia we can expect buildings that will help defend a town against demons.

      Jacopo mentioned there will be "npc shops, defensive structures and other structures of this kind" in this

      @Tuoni Angels are locked to Good Alignment anyways, which is why the Devs are considering to allow Angels to stay on Arboreus forever. It does make sense, but there are some points one could make against allowing this.
      As far as it currently stands... the devs don´t know yet what they want to do (at least that is my current state of information on this), but I think it is pretty likely that they will allow Angels to stay on Arboreus forever.

      @Tuoni If Human -> Beastmen should be a thing, Human -> Demon should also be possible. Humans are the jack of all trades. Since the Humans are responsible for the destruction of Elysium, I would actually say they are closer to Demons than Beastmen, but Humans can be anything... can be as "good" as Beastmen and can be as "evil" as Demons.

      If there would be one of those transformations, we would need both 😉

      The God you choose does matter! You can get divine quests from the God you whorship (once your favor has risen high enough from offering), which grants you favor to that god and a small Karma change in the direction of the Alignment of the God (aand maybe something else I can´t think of right now). When your favor increases high enough the God will grant you a permanent buff and special skills.

      When you are a Demon and aspire to be an angel, I think you also need favor / a specific devine quest from a god. I don´t know if it only is one god, or anyone which has Good Alignment.

      I think sometime there was also mentioned, that a Human with favor to a god with Alignment Evil, can get a buff which increases the duration you can stay on Tartaros, but since you are planning on playing a stealthy / assassin style, I assume you will play a Shadow Demon anyways, so this does not matter to you 😛
